Just heard the Odessey - the last of Fry's Greek Myth series - and dude was replicating the spirit of the subject, as I found it to be quite a meandering retelling of a classic. Troy, for me was the best of the series. Heard them all on audiobook because I love the author's characterisations - especially if they're comedy actors. Psychology of Money's on my list, so will pick that up next. Thanks for the breakdown

Cheers! I just got the Odyssey and look forward to reading it, as it’s my favorite Greek myth. Psychology of Money is a great read, hope you pick it up with my affiliate link to help support new content. Cheers

Good stuff bro I've started to make reading an integral part of my daily routine along with exercise and Te Reo Maori study. I've recently finished reading Atomic Habits by James Clear, and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F@#% by Mark Manson. I absolutely loved Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins and the way that he doesn't sugar coat anything. All the best to you and your whanau Alex. Kia kaha.

Hey I was wondering if you had any good books on Orchards and growing fruit/trees that bear fruit and also say storing them for future use? One of my friends recently has moved to a place that has a lot of fruit trees and she wishes to learn how to care for them and store the output properly. I thought you guys might know something! Also this might even be a type of book you both would be good at writing yourself, or indeed a how to guide on homesteading or taking care of a country property if formerly a city slicker/renter or so on. You've learnt a heap that can help others here I think! And have the photography skills to make a gorgeous book as well. If you don't see this, I might ask on a future video if that is okay?

James Rebanks has another book that I also loved - called The Shepherd’s Life. And his wife also just recently published a book called The Farmer’s Wife, which I haven’t read but want to!

Do you have a specific genre of book you look for, or are you an "all rounder"? Hoping all is well with the girls (and Lanka) ❤

First, dinner sounds restaurant quality perfect. Second, how do you find your reading material? I like all your selections Troy sounds good, Nomads, and Elon Musk bio. I found it amusing that you mentioned the last book’s thickness as I wondered how many pages of each. That would be helpful but not necessary:) Wonderful that you’re already reading to your daughter. Enjoyed, thanks. 🥚☕️🍁🍄🌻🚜🚛📚

Thanks Carolyn, dinner was delicious! I just follow my varied interests and try to keep things relevant yet timely. All of the books I’ve suggested have something to tell us about some aspect of what’s happening in the world today (except Troy - but it’s so good)

How is it that you have managed to have a life in New Zealand. I looked into it as an American, and I pretty much came to the conclusion they don't want us unless we're multi millionaires that want to invest in the country.
@minnowx70997 ай бұрын
Look at Kiwi American’s KZbin channel - she has lots of tips. If you have a skill then it is not that hard and a skill includes manual skills and even some types of truck driving etc - it does change depending on which skills NZ is short of. I have a few American friends that have immigrated here. Alex’s father is a NZer so he had citizenship by descent.
