Beartown is on my 2024 favorites list too and it was also on my top list from 2022 (I re-read it this year)! This series is just so good but yeah so heartbreaking. And Stormlight Archive in general is on my list as well, although Words of Radiance is my favorite 😊 And Funny Story was an honorable mention as well haha. So many good picks here! I really want to read The Will of the Many and Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop. So hard for me to pick a top book but some of my top books this year (that I didn’t already mention) were Six of Crows, Piranesi, and Seven Days in June ❤️

My favourite series this year was the Mead Mishaps series by Kimberly Lemming - starting with “that time I got drunk and saved a demon” Such fun cozy, spicy fantasy books!!

I'm excited to read welcome to the hyunam-dong bookshop just by the description. Have you seen the paperback cover? If I like it I'm going to have to get the hard and soft. One is in the night and one is in the day.

☁🌨😶🌫 My fav has to be *Orbital* by _Samantha Harvey_ followed closely by *I Who Have Never Known Men* by _Jacqueline Harpman_ and another at the top was a little surprising to me; it is A Psalm for the Wild-Built by _Becky Chambers_ . That book is really such a simple novella but one that *has so much to say* .

I absolutely loved Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone and it's thanks to you! 😘 I wouldn't hear for this book if I hadn't seen your review. I laughed out loud so many times. I had to stop reading twice to literally wipe away my tears. 😂

I read The Raven Boys so many years ago and it still has me in its grip ugh My favourite book this year is How High We Go in the Dark, so so so devastatingly beautiful and tender. I don't think I will ever get over it.

My best book of 2024 was definitely The Spear Cuts Through Water. Everything you said, I agreed with 100%. But I also LOVED Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop. What a surprising treat that book was! ❤❤❤ 🌧️

Will of the Many and Blue Sisters. ❤❤ Our tastes are so similar - I think that the only thing we disagree on is the Emily Wilde series 😅 so you are my go-to for book recs! For something that you didn't mention that I read and loved this year is "A Dowry of Blood". Oh and "Oona Out of Order"! My biggest surprise of the year for sure!

Favorites are The Frozen River, The Reformatory and They never Learn. I loved Beartown, night swim also is a fantastic book. I just finished welcome to the Hyunam-dong bookshop. I told my friend it was like sitting with old friends drinking a warm cup of hot chocolate.

I tried romantasy...but this one is more fantasy romance in my opinion. Noone has heard if it because I was looking for review on booktube, the good and the bad, and found just two. It is Elven Prince by Tara Greyce. Yes, it can be read befor Fierce Hearth it will not spoil it for you because the author knows how to write and not repeat herself. I read in sad order.

@@eimajhteb8288 it can be read as a stand alone! The future books are connected but follow different characters/situations

Beartown can totally be read as a stand alone but the other two books are also excellent. The second in the series is outstanding. Don’t put off Beartown but also if you love it, keep going.
