Beartown and Bloom were in my top 10 this year, I'm obsessed with both. The second in the Beartown series, Us Against You, is also up there for me (haven't read the last one yet, I'm not ready to be finished with it!) I also loved The Spellshop, and Bright Young Women. Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop is going on my TBR for next year, it sounds amazing.

Beartown is on my 2024 favorites list too and it was also on my top list from 2022 (I re-read it this year)! This series is just so good but yeah so heartbreaking. And Stormlight Archive in general is on my list as well, although Words of Radiance is my favorite 😊 And Funny Story was an honorable mention as well haha. So many good picks here! I really want to read The Will of the Many and Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop. So hard for me to pick a top book but some of my top books this year (that I didn’t already mention) were Six of Crows, Piranesi, and Seven Days in June ❤️

I keep harping on this series but The Warded Man by Peter Brett is my #1 of 2024!! I’m almost done with the sequel and omg it’s been a rollercoaster to so the least! It feels historical but with demon magic. I would die for these characters!! ☁🌨😶🌫 My fav has to be *Orbital* by _Samantha Harvey_ followed closely by *I Who Have Never Known Men* by _Jacqueline Harpman_ and another at the top was a little surprising to me; it is A Psalm for the Wild-Built by _Becky Chambers_ . That book is really such a simple novella but one that *has so much to say* .

i cant wait for Bear Town! *edit* my turn to read Bear Town. Should i not read it in public though? I had some bangers, but i feel like you might have read the ones that I would have picked, and this one is NOT a standalone like i thought it would be. I just grabbed it off the Romance shelf in the libary, being like, I need a romance book so sure, this one...and well im obsessed Its called Dreaming of a Heart Lake Christmas by Sarah Robinson, it might be a bit chessy hallmark-like, but im old ok?
@miyayume_eclectic_dreamАй бұрын
I tried romantasy...but this one is more fantasy romance in my opinion. Noone has heard if it because I was looking for review on booktube, the good and the bad, and found just two. It is Elven Prince by Tara Greyce. Yes, it can be read befor Fierce Hearth it will not spoil it for you because the author knows how to write and not repeat herself. I read in sad order.
