I use $10 16gram carbon bottle cages from China -- not a single lost bottle so far, and I ride enduro races and do some drops and jumps.

Decathlon plastic bottle cages are the best for the really bumpy roads, I personally have a carbon cage on the down tube and decatlon cage on seat tube and even on the pave never lost a bottle

+1 for the Arundel mandable - the plastic version is a very good option and much less expensive than the carbon version.

I prefer Fabric Cageless Bottles, because it's a very light system, more 'fixed' hold, and it's more aero if I am going with only one bottle or no bottle. I just wish I could get a bottle with the nozzle system where it opens itself when you hold it at an angle to your mouth and only have to squeeze for water to come out.

Alloy cages!! Never lose a bottle, any bottle. I've personally snapped an elite Custom race, those wings were not very sturdy, it hooked on to my long bibs and snapped...

How did you do that? I love the elite cages. especially with camelbak podium. I have trouble with some cages and non-bike bottles. Hard to get out or drop through.

Without even looking at the video yet my guess is 80 dollars per bottle cage

He did not win many races but in terms of cost per Kg he is a clear leader.

No model names on description. Also keep freaking shaking the bottles all the time so I can't see the model name.. Keep squeezing it all the time too.. This video is frustrating

Those plastic bottles are perhaps fine for short races but definitely a health hazard for long-term use. Not only they leak plasticisers and chemicals needed to convert petroleum to plastic, but they disrupt the hormonal balance in the human body. BPA-free bottles have not changed anything. I personally recommend to use stainless steel bottles. Their thin walls do not add much weight and can even keep your drink cold/warm for some time.

Fred Wong you said "BPA free bottles have not changed anything" can you prove this ? With some facts preferably, from a scientific study ideally ?

Camelback user here, and I'll probably stay like that. My big issue is the fact that it's somewhat harder to clean and the nozzle has a tendency to gunk up with mold if it isn't cleaned immediately, but the bottle just works well for me otherwise

i have camelback and elite bottle, i honestly prefer the Elite, easier to clean , camelback nozzle always stuck with dirts and harder to clean
