Love the budget content. I went to a couple events where players were talking about how they have 4 copies of EVERY card before shimmering skies “just to stay competitive” and immediately wrote off playing competitive. This video and your 100% win rate deck video have made me reconsider giving competitive a go. Thanks!

Nice video! I run red green evaisive aggro as my main deck. If you're able to spring for more of those expensive type cards, I think it's a really underrated deck, especially in this format!

Jo! i was here today in stream, youre doing very great content. im trying the purple green tempo deck myself and i strongly agree to cut the singer ursula. how do you feel about queens castle and arthur in this deck? so far for me the queens castle ended up most the time in the ink pod, but the arthur seemed very very decend. looping kit or merlin felt very great

for the first deck i think that golden flower and coconut basket would be good includes since they're both items that can remove damage which helps tamatoa and pabbie and both are only around 5 or 6 cents each

I got a playset of rockstar stitch back at release just cuz he’s one of my favorite characters and that decision has been good for me. I’m running a hybrid amber/amethyst deck with some copies of lucky and pedita and the queen’s castle to be as aggressive as I can. I think in later sets we will get more low cost amber stitch cards.

Do you have an update on the Sapphire Amber list? I found it very intriguing as a draft. Would love to see it after some testing. I am not sure tamatoas for example are the right direction with these few items (but quills would make it less budget of course).

Found that saphire pairs well with steel for budget decks. For amethyst/emerald, even in budget i would play ursula to hit songs.

just found this channel after your "why i quit marvel snap" video popped into my feed. I've been done with marvel snap for quite some time now myself. Went on vacation for a month, forgot about it and never looked back. Your marvel snap content was definitely one of my favorites in terms of deck building and piloting back in the day, so thank you for that. Probably around the time lorcana first came out, I was trying to get into it, looking around for boosters that weren't 20 USD and actually stumbled upon an amber/amethyst structure deck that literally fell through a crack in the shelf of the department store that I managed to snag, like totally the beginning of an anime. Almost overnight, however, i lost interest, playing the structure deck on pixelborn a couple of times before never playing again. Now my question is how I should go about restarting the game as far as wanting to actually have physical copies of cards to specifically build upon the amber/amethyst structure deck. Is it even worth it nowadays to even adhere to the structure deck? Just feels bad to have bought it without every actually using it. Should I be looking for boosters or just buy the cards individually at a local card shop? Maybe even just play test the deck on pixelborn? I'm not too picky on playstyles nowadays and just want a sort of functional, preferably budget deck (couple hundred USD -- not sure if that's really budget, but I figure my other hobbies are plenty expensive already, so i wouldn't mind investing a bit) I can just show up to a weekend local and not get totally steamrolled by the meta. Any advice would be amazing.

A couple of hundred is going to get you a meta deck for sure, depending on what you are looking to play. I believe the best way to go about this is to try out versions on your own at pixelborn or watch them being played on youtube. Have fun!
