I never eat fast food, but every once in awhile I’ll go to Carls Jr and get essentially the same thing you get at BK. A double western burger with a side of jalapeño poppers and an extra side of onion rings even though the burger has onion rings on it. My guilty pleasure.

Pro tip order the double quarter pounder w/ cheese and add mac sauce, taste like a big mac but made fresh to order most times so it taste better than the big macs they have under the heat lamp for hours

The Whopper is the best sandwich concept in fast food, the execution is just mediocre at best and borderline inedible at worse. Consistency is key, and they lost the whole set a long time ago lol. Also their mayo is legitimately just lard.

Public schools did used to teach it back in the 80’s including Home Economics! But those republicans y’all love so much took all that away and said your parents should teach you that at home! They killed and are gonna kill public schooling and guess who it is gonna hurt the most? They want some of you in the fields picking vegetables. I was taught how to do my taxes back in the 80’s in Junior High school because it involved math. I did my own taxes for years until I bought a house. I learned early in my 20’s to have good credit you pay all your bills on time the minimum EVERY BILL. Get one high end store credit card. Charge items here and there never going over your limit. Do this for many years until you’re offered credit cards with giant amounts following the same principles. Today I have around a 815-825 credit score and credit cards with an average of $20,000 available credit on each! I can go anywhere in this world and buy anything I want because of what I learned years ago and because of discipline!! And I don’t even make a lot of money….go figure!

I was always afraid to receive one because I was scared of getting into debt. But ya gotta build up credit to get anything (house, car, etc).

I always set mine to auto pay so I don't forget and have a late fee. When I first started I would auto pay the minimum payment, now I just auto pay the full amount since I know I have enough to cover it. Just a tip if you're forgetful because being late hurts credit too. Or put it in your phone calendar

When I worked at my previous job, my go to was a Bacon King combo, Onion Rings and and Ice Cream cup. Ice cream is only a dollar at BK still which is surprising. The BK I went to my meal was almost always consistently hot and fresh.

I love BK, I just have a hard time finding a good location. The one in my current city was really bad. Everything had a really rubbery texture, and I just haven't tried again. Bummer since I have relatively consistent experiences with other chains. Those onion rings with the sauce are gas, maybe I'll have to give it another shot soon. Also, great advice today. I too made financial mistakes in my early 20's, and finally recovered. Financial literacy is insanely important. I've got a friend who's not afraid to max out cards and is buried in six-figure debt now. You can fall into that hole in split second, but it'll take years to climb out if you're not careful.

When my nieces and nephews turned 14 I put them on my AMEX. They each got their own card and profile. However, I kept their cards and made purchases for them. I taught them financial literacy and had them educate themselves as well. When the older two turned 18, their credit score was already 780. My nephew did do some dumb ish and his score when down in the 600s and he had just reached an 800 score. He called me 3:00am pissed. I didn’t want to brow beat him, but I told him that’s the price you pay when you go against what you know.
