no COD 4? Best campaign of all time, one of the most balanced multiplayers (still held up in 2016 everyone was playing MWR). Summer 2008 was the most fun of all the cod games and I've played since COD2. I'm assuming the "it doesn't have too many fans" comes from the age of it, but it certainly has more fans than World at War.

The problem is most of the current players were to young or hadn’t gotten into the series yet. COD4 is probably the most underrated game in the series. And COD 2 was incredible for its time and history aspect.

Only plus point I could see with WaW is zombies? Besides that I think COD4 has it beat in both multiplayer and singleplayer, that campaign is way more memorable for one and the multiplayer was definitely more entertaining considering the lack of variety in WaW. MP40 drum mag spam was rampant yet in COD4 pubs not many people were using only M16. Plus I'd say the maps on COD4s multiplayer are way more iconic also considering they come back every year. @@Fynoyt

#1 World At War: im a US Marine the campaign was sick and had some horror elements of war mixed in ( Swamp mission ) the killstreaks were pure fire and zombies very first appearance #2 OG Black Ops: probably my most played COD game ever , best ingame cash system for upgrades and camos , zombies again but more missions , once again war aspect of the campaign top tier #3 Black Ops 2 : great time playing with my friends ,the emblem creator was top notch loved it , thr maps were great , story was ok multi-player and zombies top tier I prefer the black ops series over modern warfare i love history i was a marine and the missions in 1 and 2 felt meh compared too black ops and i wasnt happy with killing off my favorite cod character of all time Simon Ghost Riley but i will gove honorable mention too MW3 the original because its probably just a few hours game play time behind black ops 1 for most played time wise on multi-player i spent hours days weeks months only playing BO1 and MW3(OG)

Multiplayer was fun and the system was cool and has the best zombies of the entire series. Obviously the loot box system was bad and the campaign was horrible, but it wasn’t the worst. It was imo the last good cod till mw2019

@@lmklmklmk I'm not sure how anyone can even enjoy multiplayer on ops 3 there is no getting good when your against 568 prestige when your rank 15... I mean come on. There is little to no talk about how precise you have to be in ops 3 &4 it is kinda redicules of you ask me. Black ops series needs to straight up quit the future settings. Gulf war better not be anything close to resembling combat like ops 3 and 4 I will not give a single $1 if so

My top 3: 1. Black Ops 2 2. Black Ops 1 3. COD 4 Honorable mention to WW2, i have the most hours on that game (also because its the newest cod to play that is fun) but also have great memories playing as a big party in war mode.

My top 3 is probably Black Ops, World at War and Modern Warfare 2. I only played Black Ops 1 last year for the first time and I thought it was phenomenal after considering World at War my favourite for over a decade. I still have to play the Black Ops 2 campaign to decide where I think it stands but I'm sure it will be great. Also, although I didn't play the campaign for BO3 either, I agree with you that BO3, although not in my top 3, is an underrated game. Not like it is a hidden gem or something but I feel like people just saw jetpacks and said NOPE. I and my friends had a lot of fun with it back in 2016.
