Absolutely gorgeous scenery , breathtaking Mountain View’s !! Loving going with you both on your travels to quaint little cities ! Apple Barns are so much fun to go to , love seeing all the stuff they have ... and there was a figurine of Daisy Mae and Mr.B mentioned a viewer send a Lego Daisy to you all .. Some these places y'all stay lot of people can't afford to stay in costly camp grounds. We stay in state parks .we cook we don't eat out .once in while we may get icecream. Most people camping on budget .love how happy you two are.

People come to the Mountains in October to see the Leaves & go to the Apple Festival. We try to avoid 515 on the Weekends in October because of the Traffic.

We absolutely love Talona Ridge. We stayed on the top tier back in May. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the most cooperative but we loved the area. The Blue Ridge train was a great trip. We also explored the apple house on the way to Amicalola Falls State Park. That was a beautiful place. We also drove to Dahlonega, GA. Cute little town. Glad y'all are enjoying the area. We can't wait to get back and spend more time. Safe travels!

Love Blue Ridge! We stay at Morganton Point. It’s only $12 a night and minutes from Mercier’s and downtown Blue Ridge.

Wow! Super nice views and countryside. We have an apple tree in our back yard and make apple pies, hand pies, apple sauce, apple butter, apple donuts, and everyone says it's delicious so I would imagine that at an orchard it would all be scrumptious! Dang, that fried apple pie looked yummy! Don't think they gave you enough ice cream though. My Grandmother used to make those, but she called them apple fritters. I didn't really like them as a kid, but i sure could eat one right now!

We lived south of Atlanta in peachtree city for a couple of years. I’m so saddened that we only toured northern Georgia once and that was Stone Mountain. We we transferred there with my husbands job and had three kids in school. I wish we had made time to see these areas. I’m making a list now of these places to visit. We live about an hour from Ellijay - a beautiful cross-country drive. We enjoy driving over for apples for making apple butter. Now that I’ve seen Talona Ridge, I think we just might take our coach over for a few days soon. Thanks for sharing - it’s gorgeous! ❤

My Dad and Stepmom live in Blairsville which is not far from Ellijay. My Dad showed me an article in the local news once that Ellijay had 1 graduating senior. That's what you call a small town. My Grandmother used to take us to K-mart in Blue Ridge when we were little. I love the North Georgia mountains! They are so beautiful! I may retire there one day. I've lived at the beach in Hilton Head for years so may have to retire to the mountains. The square in Blairsville is crazy busy too! Love those little mountain towns! Looks like y'all had a great trip to the beautiful North Georgia mountains!
