My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.

The Osprey 46. is 5 inches oversized for a carryon for the generous carriers, forget about Europe. US carriers are checking the size of carryons (rightly so) much more often.

From my experience and from the dimensions stated on the website, this is not true. For example, Air Canada, which is moderately strict states “A standard carry-on bag measures 55 cm (21.5 in) in height, 23 cm (9 in) in depth, and 40 cm (15.5 in) in width” The Osprey 46 is 21.5H X 14W X 9D IN. On top of that, it’s a soft shell, so it can be bent. Here are the dimensions stated for Flair Airlines which is the most strict airline I’ve ever flown with and with which is was still fine : (9 in x 15.5 in x 21.5 in) - same as Air Canada.

@@nicholasbelliveaufolks confuse carry-on vs personal items. As well as metric vs imperial. I traveled the world for 15 years with Osprey 46 literally. Now I use the latest Daylite 44 which is even better. Pacsafe is a gimmick for the looks - would not bother.

Agreed for the confusion between carry on and personal item and happy to hear of another fan of the Osprey 46. You got me curious with the new Daylite 44 now… As for the Pacsafe, I find its construction really good, comfortable to carry and nice feature set. Sure there is a marketing play, but it’s a solid bag in any case with a set of security features that most bags don’t have anything close to.

I have one luxrul bag I got in 2022, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
