Just a little PSA: Since you are mixing different formulations, the final product isnt stable. This means that the end product can go bad quite quickly. This is fun, but please please please be aware that the product can separate, create mold etc.. which could lead to skin complications! So basically dont mix and store for extended periods of time. PS. Love your content none the less 💖💖

Here in the UK we can’t return foundations, so I did this with all my unwanted foundations. I mixed the ones that were too dark, too light, too matte and too glowy together and it turned out great. Much better than throwing them in the bin 😊

i know many of us do mix at least two different foundations when we do our makeup, but i just wanna point out that mixing products freshly pumped out is different from the way shown in this video. If you take out all the products from their original casing and mix them in a new container, you have a big chance of contaminating the products and this might lead to unwanted results. i think the way shown by Erin can be fun and useful when you have a short vacation and don't want to bring too many cans and bottles.

I’ve been a mad scientist for years with foundations. Some play friends together and some don’t…I’ve learned that! Lol I had purchased the Vita Lumiere Aqua recently and i found it really drying on my skin. You suggested mixing it with a rich crème etc. I’ve used Embroylisse and that has worked. Also the Nu Glow in Balm from YSL has helped. So Yay! Saved myself a pricey product from doom!

What a great idea! I'll have to try this myself. I am in between shades in the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. They don't make a peach undertone in the 6 range, so I have to mix shades 5.5 and 7 each day. I can just mix it up and have it ready to go in the compact. Sounds great for traveling with multiple foundations as well to save space in your bag. Thanks for the idea! 😊

Wow! This was fun to watch, my jaw dropped after like 3 additions. 😮 😅 I’ve definitely been mixing since the 90s, with oily skin I could never wear foundation in the summer. It’s just heavy mush on my face, even mattes, just because I was so oily. So, a drop of foundation into sunscreen. This summer I’ve been using Chantecaille’s skin tint mixed into sunscreen, it’s beautiful. I’d say your version has more coverage. Anyway, Clinique’s City Block back in the 1990s was really the first tinted sunscreen for oily skin. It was my staple in my 30s. But now, the finish that Chanel offers is such a difference on mature skin.
