Sheesh here I was looking for an updated tier list and I didn't realize Levi was here coming in clutch. Let's see where Lenox and Tsubame are in this list, the two characters I've been struggling with and don't really know if it's the char or just me piloting them badly.

Remember this is more about character kits and tools rather than how strong they are in meta! Those two characters have very different playstyles, if you're trying to learn both at the same time it might be a little tough

i think the tierlist is fine but imo natapon on protect the president comp does well with him comboing target one by one, but yea nice. also reach plat finally haahah but still bad player imo but yea although haze in B tier i still think she's good maybe hot take but i think katja just haze sniper with some util just wish haze E can jump over wall. katja e just so nice and it slows too... but yea. great vids ^^

I can see nathapon working out like that but I think the argument would be you have to execute well every time to pull off a protect the president comp. B tier is still very good. Even c tier is still good characters to play.

@itzLeviVT also agree. Nathapon's ult can be best in game setting up isolation kills. It takes a lot of practice to get the timing right. Most times it just helps the enemy escape

I wouldn't say it's outdated. Just because it was recorded a while ago doesn't mean it doesn't still apply. This tierlist doesn't really account for meta so it will stay relevant across all seasons unless a character receives a rework

@Jocke11 it doesn't take into account numbers/meta so the season or patch doesn't really matter too much. Obviously each character can be moved up or down based on being overturned or underpowered but this is a general guide to what kind of lp gains someone would get

Great video levi keep it up, but i have some questions like elena being S tier and Alonso in the balanced tier idk is it just me or it feels like in this meta rn alonso feels way better than elena and also its easier to play alonso (mechanically) than elena so im kinda questioning is elena still an S tier? In this meta and also im kinda a new player so do you have any suggestion which tanker (frontier) should i put time in? (Especially for solo queue)

TLDR: You'll almost never finish below 5th/6th playing Elena, but you'll finish 8th often on Alonso. Being able to run away from a fight or surviving when your team is dead so you can revive them is a big part of being able to gain RP. A character can be stronger than another and still not be as good at gaining RP. In this case specifically, Alonso may be stronger in meta than Elena, but Alonso is so prone to getting run down on night 1, if ur team decides not to group or they take a bad fight your finishing 8th. If you pick Elena, that happens almost never as she can get out of pretty much any fight at most points of the game. I also would argue that Alonso isn't that much easier than Elena. She has skillshots, while he's point and click, but I'd consider both characters pretty easy. Tanks in general aren't meant to be too difficult, the skill expression comes with making space and positioning.

There's not really a character like that. They would be too hard to balance if there was. The super hardcore carries that can do it all are either more challenging to play, or have a gimmick to them. If I had to recommend based on that criteria the closest things would be Cathy, Abigail, and Sua. But even still those characters get close, but characters in this game aren't meant to 1v3.

@@HI-kb2cg There's not really a simple kit better version of Daniel. Shoichi can do the same things Daniel does but he's pretty hard to play. Assassins in general mostly play the same way, I guess you could try Jackie, but she has some differences to Daniel.

Leni can't solo carry in terms of damage but she can definitely make big plays. I wouldn't say she's D. She's probably C since she's gated by how her team does, but she has really good escapes for staying alive.

@monkey3101 easy to play, very good at trading 1 for 0 as an assassin, if you have a good team hitting a good e is enough to win a fight and if you're not with a good team, w and r late game is enough to kill 1 maybe 2 very easily. She's really good at early and late game kills and is decently good at escaping

Character kits get updated way less frequently and even with the minor kit changes recently (Rio), its not enough to alter the positions of any character. This is a more general guide to what characters have the best tools to work with in Eternal Return for gaining RP, not what characters are the strongest in meta.

We're currently in preseason. No one really plays ranked in preseason regardless of player count. It ends Thursday so ranked queues should be back!

@@itzLeviVT If we're talking about things that make Jan actually skilled (ie stack management with rotating and chaining combos) tonfa is just infinitely easier than glove, since all you need on tonfa is to land 1 good combo and actual management of your passive which is 60-70 % of your kit is optional. While glove has to consistently have good stack management and be clean with rotations. A bad Jan on tonfa is arguabely more useful since all a bad Jan would do on glove is CC bot and buy some time (not alot), while tonfa has pty much the same while being somewhat more squishy but has the option to just -1 someone even if you dont play it optimally. THeres more to this than just hitting a spell and how much youre punished for it.
