I've changed from an Oppo phone which provided a USB-A to USB-C fast charger (65w I believe) and charges the phone in its entirety in like 45-50 mins (doing about 80% in 30mins then slows). Have just got the Google Pixel 8 Pro after o2 in the UK stopped selling Oppo and Google don't provide a charger and the Oppo charger doesn't charge it quickly - is this because it's a USB-A to USB-C and not USB-C to USB-C? I'm thinking of getting a 65W plug from Anker, would this be okay despite the 30W max?

It's because the oppo charger doesn't use power delivery
