There are three really good vids from a guy in Melbourne, Australia, on KZbin. I saw them before I bought my bike. He is really down to earth and does a pretty good job of describing the bike and how it works. His second one was really good because he was doing a 1000km review. Basically, after riding his bike daily and travelling 1000km it was still operating as per normal. I don’t know the link but he had a bike same as mine so if you type fortis 20” fat tire foldable ebike you should find his clips. As you will see he is riding his bike in a typical Aussie bush track that is a little rougher than found in the uk. Well worth a look.
@bobmcdougall89813 жыл бұрын
Nice video. I have just bought a similar bike in Australia. Same size motor and battery. I am 195cm and 140kg and this thing carries me without a problem. They are fun and healthy, except for one thing. I needed a tyre lever to get the bike seat out of my freckle. I ended up sore and chafed. My new seat arrived minutes ago and I will be fitting that later and going for a ride. Mine was cheaper than the ADO at $800au, probably about £450 quid but I got mine on line through a company called Kogan. Happy with the bike, happy with the price. Hopefully I will be happy with the seat.

These bikes are good for little mini people like this guy who like the sit up and beg riding position which is in no way aero or lets you get power form your legs. Once you ride a bike properly fitting with the seat slightly higher than the handlebars were you are balanced equally over the front and back wheels then you will never be able to stand doing what he is doing but you can of course do that if that's what you want and are happiest with as so many do. Just sayin but it does makes me cringe when I see it.
@VRCauldron3 жыл бұрын
This is a cruising ebike and you're judging it like you want it to be a racing bike. It only has seven gears so you can't get ANY power from legs after 20mph and when you set off you don't need to get any power. The legs are just there to help a tiny bit.
@geeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzz3 жыл бұрын
@@VRCauldron I bought one (different model) and I have set it up in the riding position I prefer (even bought a handlebar extension to give me more forward reach) and I still cruise about but I enjoy it more. If you actually tried it you might be surprised.

To each their own. Most of these ebikes are basically low powered mopeds. And they are for getting around in a leisurely fashion. If I want a workout. I will turn off the motor and pedal for a few miles. The upright stance is better for most peoples back. My A20 is fitted with a giant saddle with a backrest. Like you see on tricycles. And it's super comfortable. When I got the A20. The stock saddle was uncomfortable after 20 minutes. And I was getting back pains crouching over. Now I can be on the bike for hours. Ans it's like I'm on my sofa. Floating along. That's my thing.

Bought one on the strength of this vid. Poor quality, inferior materials, will not last.

I bet it's still going after 10 months. Good ebike.
