Yeah buddy, she's pretty cool and granted I'm new to E bikes but it seems like the bang for the buck at less than $700 is hard to beat. Once you start creeping up to the $1,000+ segment though, it definitely opens up some other doors with a few more bells and whistles and of course, mo powa baby lol! I'm really itching to try out one of these high-powered E bikes though, the fun factor on some of them looks to be through the roof but then again, so does some of their price tags. It should be pretty interesting though once some of the big manufacturers decide to dip their toes in all of this and I'm all for it, as long as we don't see a big push to get rid of our ICE toys. Appreciate the kind words as always and thanks a million for checking out the video too, as I know it's not the "norm" and in return, this video looks like it's going to flop inside the algorithm due to not many of my normal viewers checking it out - so KZbin won't recommend it out to others because they think it's a bad video. I won't bore you going down that rabbit hole though lol but I appreciate ya bud ;)

Good stuff, always fun to change it up a little. Honestly, my local Honda/Yamaha/KTM/Polaris dealer has about 30% of their showroom dedicated to e-bikes, e-scooters, one wheels and such. So, there's definitely a segment of the motorsports market open to this stuff. No need to hate, it's good to have so many options for 2 wheel fun!

Appreciate the kind words bud and thank you for taking the time to watch, despite this being outside of the norm as most people have decided to skip this one by - nuking it inside the algorithm. Oh yeah, it's the same way around here too with a lot of the "usual ICE" dealers starting to stock more and more electrified toys from other manufacturers, because they couldn't get anything from the big guys during the whole rona mess. It's baffling to me that more of the big players haven't really started to push their own brand of E bikes to being able to sell in these dealerships, with all of the hype continuing and continuing to grow around them. Honda could DOMINATE if they wanted to release their own E bikes here in the states. If they could design something that's only slightly more expensive than some of the other options, they'd sell like hotcakes because of people trusting the Honda brand and let's not forget about how easy it would be to have them in a Honda motorcycle dealership, to which every town has. And that can't be said about other E bikes as usually, you're buying them sight unseen off the internet. Even if they started to dip their toes in the market by bringing these cheaper Honda E bikes over ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqGumKCPepljd68 ) before trying with a slightly more expensive setup. It's going to be interesting to see what the future brings on that front though! Thanks again for not only watching but for jumping in the conversation too bud ;)

Kinda thought this was a TailHappyTV video because he reviews e-bikes. I’m not hating though, I’m a fan of them. Had a cheap little one from Costco and honestly it was a lot of fun.would of killed to have on back in middle school/high school. Being that there getting so popular, do you think that Honda will finally start selling there e-bikes in other markets other then China? I think it would be a smart move that would fit in integrate in a tear below there mini moto line. Great video as always

Haha you're not the first to say that! I finally got a chance to check out some of his content the other day, after someone brought him up and he does great work. He's definitely got the e bike market on lock! Ohhh yeah, having one of these back when I was younger would've been awesome! My buddies and I absolutely tore up the town on our bicycles back in the day and it definitely wouldn't of hurt my feelings to have some assistance from an electric motor to outrun them lol! Those were the good ole days, not a care in the world - just meeting up with your friends and having fun while trying to see how far away from home you could make it on bicycles lol. Yessir, I think it's only a matter of time before Honda starts selling e bikes in other places than just China. I don't think it'll happen in the next year or two but it's inevitable as we see more and more push towards being "green" and bringing more options to the table. Like you said, having something that's a step below their current minimoto model lineup when it comes to pricing and on dealership's showroom floors, I think they would do extremely well. A lot of people are hesitant to sink money into these e bikes as most brands pop up quickly and disappear, so it's hard to figure out who you can trust to give your money too and it not be junk. If Honda enters the market, even at a premium over the other brands, they'll sell - because people trust Honda. If they aren't working on this behind the scenes and don't have a timeline or plan on making this happen, they are 100% CRAZY! Not when it comes to electric bicycles but it's going to get really interesting though over the next 18 months when it comes to Honda and electric models... Appreciate the kind words on the video! Fingers crossed it does well but I'm going out on a limb here that it doesn't, because most of my normal viewers seem to not like electric stuff and that neuters it inside the KZbin algorithm so then they don't "recommend" it out to more people. Oh yeah, there are definitely some out there but when it comes to my "normal" audience - I think about .001% are interested in them, judging by the view count lol! Which is a shame as it nukes the video inside KZbin's algorithm when your normal audience isn't really clicking on a video as then they won't recommend it out to more viewers. So I really appreciate you giving the video a chance and the kind words on it as well, thank you... Thank you for the mention on the Lectric XP 3.0 too! That's one I've been eyeballing as it has a LOT of things going for it at that price point and most people seem to really be enjoying them. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on one soon and do a comparison of them as that'd be pretty interesting to see. We'll see how this video does though as if it doesn't do any better than my last e bike video, I may have to stick to just motorcycles due to them not paying off for the time invested. @@HondaProKevin yeah I get it. I love riding motorcycles. But I don’t love traffic lights at 107 degrees 😄. No tax title and license issues with an E bike. I’ll keep a motorcycle but I’m going for the side piece E bike for sure. I think anyone who considers a dual sport considers it. Escaping traffic. Thanks Kevin!!

You would think Honda would be all about building an Ebike since they have made bicycles models in the past an even raced them. I’m guessing they don’t because it would way over engineered and way too expensive.

Yessir, you would think they'd be all over that! ...and technically, they are - a little bit. If you haven't seen this video yet ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqGumKCPepljd68 ) they have started to dabble in E bikes a little bit overseas. It would be interesting to see them give it a whirl for other markets though and dip their toes into the US market but like you said, it'd be easy for them to over engineer them and end up being priced waaaaay too high, resulting in them being a flop, like quite a few different motorcycle models of theirs from over the years. They could take a big chunk of the pie though if they wanted to with how E bikes have increased so much in popularity. If they could design something that's only slightly more expensive than some of the other options, they'd sell like hotcakes because of people trusting the Honda brand and let's not forget about how easy it would be to have them in a Honda motorcycle dealership, to which every town has. @@HondaProKevin Yes Yamaha is selling E Bikes and if i remember doesn’t Polaris own Kiet Kat? You would think they would be all over this an have them in dealerships along side of motorcycles and available to but online. They would have to make them somewhat reasonable but yes i think people would pay a little more for the Honda brand.

My biggest problems with e-bikes is they just turn into more electronic waste when they're tossed aside, and they always are. Terrible misallocation of resources.

I can't argue there bud! Waste from our electronics is something that's definitely not discussed enough and could come back to bite us a lot quicker than what some think. On a less heavy note though lol, appreciate ya watching and jumping in the conversation bud ;)
