I would like to hope that you analyse the darts more in depth, for example cutting a couple of them open to see their stem lengths (which might affect feeding in springers) and to compare them directly in a more organised and informative fashion via inspecting the consistency of these darts rather than holding them up and just giving a very basic overview of them. The first ones you mentioned, with hard tips, are commonly known as FJVs, and weigh in around 1.3g per dart. Kooshes weigh in around 1.2g per dart, and the last ones you mentioned, are in fact voberrie darts. However, that are worse that elite darts, and much more similar to old streamlines

Voberry darts and FVJs are two separate kinds of darts. The solid-tipped ones you mentioned in this video are FVJs (which are banned in many places for good reason), while Voberries (Voberrys?) have hollow plastic tips, almost mirroring stock elite hollow rubber tips.

Drac, I think some of the terminology being used is inconsistent. The hard tipped darts you mentioned firsts are called by most people Full Vinyl Jackets (FVJs) which are banned from most Nerf events. The ones you recommended us to buy since they have a slightly harder tip than elites appear to be Voberry darts. These are allowed some places and not allowed in other places. Koosh I have generally seen as always allowed.

Hey Drac, I was wondering if you could make a review of the off brand Chinese Elite suction darts I keep seeing on Ebay. They shouldn't have the hard tip, and there very cheap. Any chance you could try them so people would know if there a good alternative?

aren't those pretty much what voberries are too? the ones you showed at the beginning are definitely FVJs, not voberries, which feature a very similar design to the Hasbro originals. The thing with voberries is, that the foam is a little thicker (I believe they are made in metric 13mm OD), which results in sometimes poor performance.

With no extreme sales involved, standard elite darts cost around 20-25 cents or so. Never buy nerf darts at 45 cents apiece, or you're getting seriously ripped off.

Guys, those are FVJ's. Full vinyl jackets. Until you get hit by an FVJ, not an ordinary dart, you don't get what he means. They may not injure, but they are painful. And I wouldn't go for the eyes with those, especially my more heavily modded weapons with around K26 power. Before you criticize, experience.

Yeah, they don't do more than sting. But what about small kids? I mod, but one of my friends has small siblings. I don't want to be hitting them with FVJs. And again, near K26 spring weight, or in pounds, around 57 pounds. Lots of us do that.

A few months back I bought some hard tip bullets(1000) for 20 dollars. Now I have gotten a NEW stryfe and a NEW infinus but they won't shoot the hard tipped bullets. Hard tipped darts are way more accurate than original ones, so I prefer them. And they are extremely cheap, you can get 100 of them less than 4 dollars, without any shipping fee. As long as you use stock nerf guns, they are harmless too. (I cannot recommend them for modded guns because of their high fps.)

Voberries aren't solid tip darts, they're more akin to old-fashioned streamlines (a hollow tip with a small hole and a longer stem than elites, albeit with a slightly stiffer tip material compared to genuine streamlines) and perform about the same (the longer stem moves the centre of mass back closer to centre of pressure reducing the stability). Those cheap "RasyShop" darts with no code that you have are more likely to be "Voberries" (named after the original seller on Amazon). Completely solid tipped darts are often referred to as "FVJs" or "Full Vinyl Jacket" darts.

Voberries and FVJs are a bit different. The amazon darts are voberries, while those solid tips are the FVJs. FVJ stands for full vinyl jacket. They definitely hurt to get hit with. Voberries aren't any worse than elites to get hit with.

The darts you're calling "Voberries" are not Voberries. They're full vinyl jackets. Voberries are like elites, but with 1.5g mass and slightly stiffer tips. The "RazyShop" darts you presented are of the Voberry type.
