I have a 2022 Entegra Odyssey 30z motorhome. My wife and I are not fulltime RV'ers, but we do go on extended trips of 2-3 months at a time. The maintenance is easy for a "do it yourselfer" and the coach has held up extremely well. The cabinetry is nice quality, the fixtures have not had any issues, and it is easy to drive. My wife insisted on a class c because she would not drive a class A. No matter how much I tried to get to drive one she would not, but she enjoys driving our class c Entegra. We would definitely purchase our coach again.

We've had our '17 Minnie Winnie for 7 years. While we don't live in it FT, it gets a lot of use and I'd be comfortable fulltiming in it for awhile if and when that time comes. (The 31D is a great floorplan).

Great information on the class C. As for me I'm sticking with my class A fleetwood. Love watching your channel. 😊

There's nothing wrong with that decision Marty. If it's working for you just stay with what's working. And thanks for the positive feedback!

I enjoy your videos! I’ve been researching RVs for a year and before I buy I plan to get some of your booklets. Thank you!

Hi Jane. You are doing the right thing by researching as much as you can before making your RV purchase. It will save you a lot of wasted time and money in the long run. And if you get any of my guidebooks I will be ready to give you any personal help you need in the buying process. Thanks for watching and for leaving a nice comment!

I did an inspection on a used SunSeeker for a financial guy that was planning to travel the country giving seminars. I expressed my doubts about whether this particular class C was up to the rigors of 2+ years on the road needing to meet a schedule. He was a pretty smart guy and built in a reasonable amount of down time between gigs for sightseeing and the unexpected. He kept in touch and the last I heard from him he was starting his fourth year with very little maintenance downtime.

I would like a four-season gas-powered with NO slideouts
@RVInspectionAndCare Жыл бұрын
You might consider a Jayco Redhawk SE. They have a couple of floorplans that do not include slides. I'm not sure how much it would be considered a four season rig, but you can always make improvements that will allow it to be used in more extreme weather. I hope that's at least a good place to start.

@@RVInspectionAndCare I'd also prefer the GM then the Ford.

I would like your opinion of Gulf Stream class C’s. Specifically the Conquest. They have a particular floor plan with the 6320 that I cannot find in other manufacturers. In the past, I have owned a Coleman pop up, a 35’ Keystone 5th wheel and a 33’ class A gasser. I’m looking for my “retirement” motor home within the next year or two.

Gulf Stream is not on my list of recommended brands. But that doesn't mean that you can't get a good RV from them. It just means that you can most likely increase your odds of getting a solid and reliable RV from a brand that is known for higher quality and more consistent products.

Hello Duane! I love getting a new video from u! I plan on a Class C & am torn between gas or diesel…I’ve watched all ur other videos but still can’t decide!!! HELP😂
@RVInspectionAndCare Жыл бұрын
LOL ... yes it can be a challenge to make those kinds of decisions sometimes. And unfortunately, no one else can make that decision for you. I recommend that you take some time to list all the priorities that you want in an RV starting at the top and going down from there. Then match each listed priority up with the kind of RV that best meets those needs and see what you come up with. Very often if you do that it helps crystalize in your mind which kind of RV seems to be the best for your particular needs. I hope that helps.

Price being equal and the length being close enough, any input on Class A gas vs Class Super C diesel? Thank you.
@RVInspectionAndCare Жыл бұрын
Well, it's kind of hard to compare any gas powered RV with a diesel powered one. The chassis is so different and the tow capacity and cargo carrying capacity will be hugely different in most cases. And gas Class As will not usually be in the same price range as a Super C either. But the Super C will still be less expensive than a Class A diesel pusher most of the time.. I recommend that you test drive them both and see what your impressions are.
@Jgjginkg244 Жыл бұрын
@@RVInspectionAndCare thank you very kindly!! Excellent advice!! Will do the test drive for sure and have it fully inspected!! :)

Can you tell me which is best user class C diesel motorhome
@RVInspectionAndCare Жыл бұрын
In my opinion, when a diesel engine and commercial chassis is part of the RV it is no longer a normal Class C. It's a Super C instead. So here is a video I made on some of the best Super Cs to choose from that may be helpful for you - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZ6smIZnYr6jqtk

Due to the limited storage capacity, which you mentioned, I personally would not buy a class C for full time use. But that is just my personal opinion as it applies to me. Others may well be perfectly happy with it. #Stuff
