In the demonstration you sprayed directly onto the RV then scrubbed and wiped off with the brush. So in order not to use a ladder I’d say it’s ok to just apply it to the mop and use it from the ground?

I try to spray the product on the RV as long as I can reach it conveniently with the spray bottle. Then once it's applied to the coach, I use one side of the mop head to spread the solution and clean it, then the other side to dry the surface. But when it comes to the top of the coach, I just spray the product onto the mop head liberally and apply it that way, then dry with the other mop head. No ladders needed.

The metal head that holds the mops in place has a label inside it that says "dry" on one side and "Wet" on the other. As long as you follow that direction you'll know which side is which. And I have extra mops to replace any that get too wet or too dirty as I use them. I hope that helps.

How are you supposed to rinse it with water when you can’t use that much water in a park, you lost me there….
@RVInspectionAndCare
@RVInspectionAndCare Күн бұрын
First of all, I have never had to use water to rinse anything on my coach. And as I said in the video, if you regularly clean your RV, which only takes minutes with this system, there will not be any need to clean off a lot of dirt. But that is one of the most common objections I get about using this product. So my response would be if you have caked on dirt and grime, somehow rinse the outside mud and dirt off before cleaning it with the system I demonstrated. Whether that is in an RV park or elsewhere is up to the RV owner. As I said, it has never been needed on my end though.

We love the layout of our 2015 Montana, but the quality was horrible with several issues coming up in just the first year. Leaking jacks, sticking doors, failed AC, faulty black tank drain, dead fireplace, dead water heater, failed jack leveling system, and on and on. Compared to our Tracer which had 0 quality issues, we found the Montana to be sub-par in quality. If I was going to buy a new 5th wheel, I'd avoid Keystone and the Montana due to poor the quality - even our extended warranty was made mute when Camping World purchased our local dealer :-( Just my personal experience.
@RVInspectionAndCare
@RVInspectionAndCare Күн бұрын
Hi Shawn. A few points need to be made here. First, I'm referring to the overall build quality of NEW 2024-2025 Montana's in this video, not used ones. Secondly, many of the things you mentioned do not have to do with overall build quality coming from the factory. The jacks, fireplace, water heater, etc. are not made by Keystone. They are components that come from just a small group of RV suppliers that provide appliances and parts for the vast majority of RVs being made, not just Keystone. And lots of people blame the manufacturer when the real culprits are the suppliers of these components of the RV instead. Finally, if an RV buyer would use a certified RV inspector to thoroughly test every system of the RV before they buy it, even new ones, many of those issues could be found and fixed before you take ownership of the rig. One final point. I never recommend buying an extended warranty from an RV dealer. I always suggest going with a reputable broker instead like Wholesale Warranties who will match your needs with the right company and follow up to make sure they pay out on legitimate claims. I know that it's easy to blame RV manufacturers for everything since that is what so many people on social media do. But a little buyer education about how buy RVs the right way can prevent a lot of headaches afterward.

What about the front of the coach after a travel day? The front of my coach is covered with bugs after traveling. I have this product but I don’t think this would work on bugs plastered to the front after traveling.
@pamelaklemp5615
@pamelaklemp5615 2 күн бұрын
That's a legitimate question to ask. I'm surprised no one has offered any solutions for that. Have you found any product that works well for the "travel day bugs" removal yet? I'm in my mid 70s and easy-to-use yet being an effective solution is what I'm trying to find. The HOT southern temperatures make it a multi-day job at best. Please let me know if you 🙏 find anything that works somewhat easily. Thanks 😊!
@RVInspectionAndCare
@RVInspectionAndCare 2 күн бұрын
This product is not really meant to remove bugs. The most common solution to that problem I have heard is a 2 step process. First, you take a wet and soapy cloth and wipe the front end of the RV in the shade, not in direct sun. That softens the bugs up. Then you use a common clothes dryer sheet and wipe the bugs off easily. After that, if you keep the front end waxed with the product in this video and apply the paint sealant I mentioned, bugs will not stick nearly as hard to the front and will be much easier to remove.

Hi Robert. I have used it in both Florida and Arizona in the summertime and it did a great job for me. Of course, when it's really hot, I recommend that you try to do the parts of the RV that are in the shade and wait until the other parts are in the shade or have cooled off before you do them next. I didn't always do that and still got good results. But the more you apply it to a surface that is not blazing hot the better results you'll get.

We bought a 2022 keystone sprinter 30RL in the spring of 2022. Had several camping trips to Florida, texas and around Michigan and Indiana. Boy! Did we luck out! New to RVing, knowing nothing about 3rd party inspections! We’ve had nothing major go wrong except for a very minor slide adjustment. Just had a complete inspection done (proactive maintenance) - just a couple of screws tightened and a tiny bit of lap seal applied - nothing else. Amazing! Inspector said it’s rare to find a RV without issues. Propane, electrical, plumbing, roof,etc excellent running condition. We’re keeping it until we’re too old to climb the stairs! Thanks. Honest video. We rented a Thor model 20G, (manuf. Feb 2022) C21 at Cruise Canada last week. It was a horrible piece of old fashioned, spartan junk. Technologies of 30 years ago. No innovation. Cheapest possible appliances. Colours and looks of the eighties. Useless control/monitoring panel. And so on. And still the same stupid tech inside which we saw when renting 25 years ago. Even for a rental (for misusing and abusing renters) it is way too simple and spartan. The North American RV industry generally is a joke. We considered buying one in Canada. And are following the RV industry for many years now. But will never buy a Thor, a post rental one or one that is less than 10 years old. Maintenance at CC and CA is a joke. All nice words in their adds trying to sell you a used RV is nonsense. I really cannot understand why there is almost no innovation in this price range (brands). Let aside the old school spartan Ford E350 chassis…it’s like turning back the clock 30 years. If you put a North American and a European RV in a blender, it would create a nice unit if manufacturers took best of both worlds together, but almost none do this to my surprise. Why is there no innovation, you think?
@RVInspectionAndCare
@RVInspectionAndCare 4 күн бұрын
Hi Mike. The Class C segment of the RV industry is the entry level for motorhomes just like travel trailers are considered the entry level for towable RVs. So the manufacturers do their best to keep many of the offerings in this category as low cost as possible, That pretty much rules out much innovation and means that they will often rely on older, proven methods that work but aren't a significant step forward. And that's why you see the Ford E350 and E450 chassis used extensively on Class Cs. It has its problems with ride and handling. But it is very reliable overall and gets the job done. And some manufacturers do better than others with Class C products. Of course, Cruise America takes the basic motorhome RV concept to the Max. But that is also what some people want. So there's different strokes for different folks, and whatever works best for you is what you should choose. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@MikeHageman
@MikeHageman 4 күн бұрын
@@RVInspectionAndCare Thanks. I agree, it's entry level and apparently what customers want. But I doubt it. A few points: -the engines: reliable, but old school gas hungry, oversized, no hybrid, no EV. -chassis: overweight do to the use of heavy materials which can easily be replaced by cheap modern, lightweight materials (walls, cabinets, doors, windows). -the furnace: super inefficient, 1960s thermostate. -the water heater: old school boiler to say the least. -the control panel: use some cheap available electronics and make it more convenient and reliable. IMHO: innovation can go hand in hand with cost effectiveness, but the industry doesn't want it. Thor still buys the E-series, cause their customers (rental companies) want them. The urge to innovate and modernize is zero. Same counts for the 70s interiors. Is this really what renters want? Sit in a mobile home that looks like grandma's lounge? I have had a great discussion with CruiseCanada management, they are escalating my ideas, because they want to go forward.
