In terms of quality, The Batman has all the pedigree to be great with the casting, to the director, to the music etc... Plus, it just looks incredible. So I'm betting on that right now. Doctor Strange 2 could be amazing. I have faith that Thor: Love and Thunder will be a joy ride. Similarly Aquaman 2 should be fun if they can replicate the adventure feel from the first film. And if Across the Spider-verse can replicate its prequel, then this will be a good year for comic book movies. The others I am interested in but I can't say I'm too hyped yet. I'm still a little skeptical on The Flash. It just feels like a lot being thrown into one film. Morbius could be a guilty pleasure or a trainwreck. I need to know more about Wakanda Forever to start getting hyped on it. Similarly with Black Adam.

It will be a great movie in general. That’s what I think most people are missing here, purely viewing the Batman as just ‘another DC movie’. Batman ever since his best comics has transcended just being another superhero comic book charachter. Ever since the Nolan Trilogy also, his solo films and characters have transcended the comic book film genre. I mean just look at the fact that Batman’s greatest villian the Joker has won 2 oscars for performances that were allowed to be absolutely incredible due to the writing material that went beyond just being escapist media. I am very confident that the Batman will be the best comic book movie and maybe one of the best films to release next year, on account for Batman’s ability to transcend the genre and go on to be didactic media that analyses real world concepts. Not to mention the amazing cast, score, cinematography and action that has been featured so far. I am confident with you it will be the best and is my most anticipated

@big men The Batman looks like an actual film that people can sink their teeth into and think about for more than the hour after they leave the theatre. I love the MCU, but it is escapist media, it allows you to switch your brain off and cheer at big explosions, funny one-liners and fan service cameos for 2hrs…but it rarely gives you anything beyond that ( with a few exceptions). The Batman from what has been said and shown about this film is far more didactic, meaning it will appeal to auidiences sensabilities of the human condition, the state of urban society and corruption ect. These concepts transcend the medium, and actually allow for intelligent and important conversations in our real world, not just ‘wasn’t it cool Patrick Stewart was Professor X in Dr Strange MoM’. The Batman will be better for these reasons

The Batman I have zero faith in the Sony spin offs personally, really wasn’t a fan of the first Venom and didn’t even bother seeing the second. Morbius has that same feel for me and in all honesty, he doesn’t really look that great for me from a character design perspective. I also think you’re sleeping on Black Panther pretty hard here. They may not have Tchala/Chadwick but what they do have is an opportunity to say goodbye, and the opportunity for a film that can bring people together, one that’ll likely imply anyone can be a super hero and I just think it’s got the potential to be a really powerful and emotional film. Finally the new Spider-Man, I probably have it low, I just think with the fact that it’s only a Part 1 that it has the opportunity to feel less complete and therefor could be less satisfying, but that’s just me… I’ll also admit I don’t adore the first one like so many other people do, though I definitely do like it… The Batman I think has a chance to rival The Dark Knight which I think is really saying something

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Die hard fans of the first Spider-Verse movie will definitely love this as much) 2. The Batman (The best Batman movie since The Dark Knight. Robert Pattinson is the best Batman actor) 3. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Easily the best of the 3 MCU movies this year. Sam Raimi's direction is what made this so good and there are surprises you won't see coming) 4. Thor: Love and Thunder (2nd best Thor movie behind Ragnarok) 5. Black Adam (The biggest surprise of 2021 it was so much fun) 6. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Definitely a downgrade from the first but it does pay respect to Chadwick. Probably the MCU movie I respect the most) 7. Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom (Amber Heard became the Brie Larson of the DCEU with her shitty bored-face performance but the movie itself was decent) 8. Morbius (Great action, CGI, and good performance from Jared Leto. But the origin story is so uninteresting as it tries to be Batman Begins 2.0) 9. The Flash (Imagine if No Way Home did not work at all, that's basically what this movie is) 10. In terms of anticipation 10. League of Superpets (Looks awful) 9. Black Panther 2 (No Chadwick, no T'challa, no interest) 8. Aquaman 2 (Didn't care for the first movie, the turd is still in it and the film doesn't look all that different from that footage) 7. Thor 4 (Could be fun, but I felt Ragnarok was a perfect end and no fourth movie was necessary. Also don't like Jane Foster, especially as Thor). 6. The Flash (I'm looking forward to seeing Keaton again, but the rumours of that ending are worrisome) 5. Morbius (I like the Venom movies and this looks like it could be fun) 4. Black Adam (The Rock is perfect casting and the scope of the film intrigues me. Excited for Doctor Fate) 3. Spider-verse 2 (I adore the first film and am looking forward to more) 2. Doctor Strange 2 (Honestly, if it wasn't for the rumours of certain characters appearing, particularly a flaming skull, I wouldn't be half as interested. But those rumours are looking damn solid) 1. The Batman (Looks like the Batman franchise I've been waiting for).

Nah Taika literally said he took people reviews for Thor Ragnarok into consideration to make Thor Love and thunder he said it will be funny but when it has emotional scenes it will be emotional you are underestimating him Jojo Rabbit was quite emotional movie

Jeffrey Wright already said there'll be some fantastical elements. This first movie is young Batman, so he hasn't gone up against more out there threats yet. Mr Freeze is rumoured for the sequel and I pray to God that we get some Robins as well.

(Catwoman having a bunched ski mask instead of cat ear goggles, Riddler not being a gameshow host essentially, something the Arkham games were phenomenal with) I just want the first really comic accurate Batman film thats long overdue, hope Reeves and Pattinson deliver this March.
