In January i bought my first iPhone ever, the regular 13 and the 12 mini for my wife. In July i went for the 13 mini, because I liked the size, and how easy it fits in the hand. I’m really happy with this decision. Battery life is good, also on my wife’s 12 mini. We get easily all day battery with 4-5 hrs SOT. Hoping in the future Apple will take these mini’s as new SE models, cause we both don’t want a bigger model. Btw, great review 👍🏼👍🏼

Yet another great review! I’m planing on temporarily jumping ship from a midrange Samsung to iPhone later this year, and I’m intending on getting either a 12 mini or 13 mini. The main deciding factor is whether or not the battery increase and base storage increase are worth the cost of an upgrade to the 13 mini.

I'm getting the 12 mini, because it's still cheaper used now. Backmarket I've heard is pretty good.I wanted the 13 mini, but it's too expensive. I have the s21 right now, and sometimes it's still pretty big.

I got an insane deal on the 12 Mini! Got it for less than 450 USD. Love the size, speed, and overall reliability. Especially compared to the Xs. Which has connectivity issues related to the Intel modem. It’s a shame Apple is killing the mini lineup. I really hope they bring it back later as an SE. Thank you for the review! It absolutely still makes sense to buy this iPhone especially if you get a good deal on it. The 13 series doesn’t really offer anything substantial over this apart from the battery improvements

Same here bro, I just got myself a mint condition 256gb 12 mini that still has warranty in it for around 430 usd. My android phone died and I was going to just buy a Samsung A53 until I saw this phone, This is my first iphone ever and I absolutely loved it. People bash it for having mediocre battery life but I don't game so it's not a problem for me. I do notice that the 12 mini also seemed considerably more unpopular as the regular versions cost significantly higher on average on secondhand market. So if you can look past the downsides like battery life this phone is a hidden gem and an absolute steal.

Ikr, the Mini seemed unique enough in a world of large phones. Thru the rumours, they're replacin the Mini lineup with Max model of the regular 14. So the lineup will be 14, 14 Max, 14 Pro & 14 Pro Max.

I have the iPhone 12 mini since release day on November 13, 2020 I’ve enjoyed this iPhone the whole time it’s a great small form factor smartphone. I plan on getting the iPhone 13 mini so I’ll have both small form iPhones before Apple discontinues the model. My battery usage is good I don’t expect it to last me all day and I’m a heavy user on my phone. But charging it is a breeze it doesn’t take to long to get me a charge so it will last through the night.

finally, someone who acknowledges the fact that you can buy iPhone from other dealers except apple. its pisses me off how every youtuber talks only from buying from apple, like they gaining something from it. I'm Honestly deciding between the 12 Mini in Blue with 256 GB of Storage, the 13 Mini in Blue with either 256 or 512 GB of Storage, or the ASUS Zenfone 8 with 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of Storage. It's difficult to pick between the Three, But your Video gives me the Confidence that Considering the 12 Mini is a Good Idea, contrary to a lot of other Videos on YT that say otherwise. The best thing about the 12 mini is being able to type one handed with one thumb! You simply can’t do that with any other iPhone as comfortably except maybe the SE bit is has the thinner rounded edges that make it more prone to slipping out of your hand than the square edged frame of the mini. Also, it’s just great to have a phone that doesn’t weigh so much like all those giant screens. Sure it’s nice to have have that big screen but having to stretch your fingers around it can cause cramps in your hand and it’s really bad if you have arthritis. You just have to ask yourself if you wanna sacrifice functionality and ease of use for that big screen and uncomfortable heavy weight of the bigger iPhones.

The battery life is ok if you don't use this phone much during the day. Watch some KZbin videos for few hours, or use navigation and the phone won't last to the early evening. I'm going to buy the apple magsafe battery. Hope it will help for those days. If you heavy user, look somewhere else.

I’ve just bought a iPhone 12 mini 128 GB second hand in mint condition for $650 NZ . I bought it because only i have one hand. I have a XS iPhone which is awesome but too big for one hand. I looked at a 13 mini, great phone but still has a hefty price on it. My 12 mini should arrive in the next couple of days. Of course i researched the 12 Mini ( KZbin is great for that ) All i can say is Wow what a phone . Ill be able to use one hand , cameras are amazing , Oled screen, 5 g , very tough , processes quickly , no home button and awesome colour Red. The only negative I’ve heard is the battery. But seriously a battery back up will sort that out. For the more serious work I’ve got a 12.9 2021 M1 , amazing . A great team. Thank you Apple 😊

Would I be able to charge the 12 mini with the wireless feature with the case on. Or would the case have to be removed in order to charge the phone. Thank you.

I love this phone but one thing I don't like is for basic point and shoot camera shots it sometimes just over does it with the contrast and showing things way too bright than the actual environment was. I've learned how to deal with the camera but alot of scenery shots I just want to go click and put back in my pocket and not spend time adjusting the brightness and such.

The phone size is excellent since it reminds me of my favorite iPhone model (iPhone 5). But, dealing with this phone itself has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any Apple device. My phone constantly over heats. Lags. Gets frozen. Glitches. Exits out of apps. Switches to other apps.

imo if you're going to go for a iPhone 12 mini and spec it up to 128GB, might as well just get the 13 mini, base model has a fixed 128GB, a more powerful processor but also has better battery, better camera, and will get software update for year more.
