Same thing happened to me. I thought 10 rebels was a sure win. Until the last round where the other remaining player managed to build enforcer 10.

This set is so weird, trying to top 4 is not much different from normal TFT but getting a 1st really depends so heavily on breaking anomalies. Without stats I think this is going to greatly increase the separation from high elo study groups and everyone else.

I'm not high elo by any means but I think it's balanced in a way that puts much more focus on correct economy/tempo. In order to get 1st this set 90% of the time you NEED to hit level 9 or 10. In previous sets it felt much more forgiving to be 7 or 8.

@@caminhaodelixo2 i agree that tempo style was hard to win with before the b patch however may I introduce you to Violet post giga-turbo-buffs. She can carry you to tempo into a nice mid-game now. That being said you don't need level 9 or 10 to win, more importantly you need a super good anomaly on a strong carry.

I haven't had a single chem-baron top 4. Even with a 500 cashout and 40+HP left, I just immediately got slammed into the ground by scrap or twitch.

I've used TFT Academy since y'all launched it and I love it, but for this set I've struggled a bit using it because while you show anomaly priority for units specifically, I don't know every single anomaly effect yet and which is best for what units, so I think a spot for recommended anomaly for the carries on the guides would be really helpful for people like myself!

another thing i played paint the town blue with the augment that everytime an ally with the synergy in ur team dies ur allies gain a bunch of stats and because the paint the town blue augment throws out extra copies of your rebel characters, 1 stack of this augment basically counts as 2 so ur getting 2x the stats from 1 champ making ur backlane later on in the fights INSANLY strong with an illaoi, zoe jinx left at the end of your fights!

That lastwhisper comment on experimenter twitch feels incorrect since twitchs experiment buff makes it so that all experiments deal 15% max HP as phys dmg on hit and urgots ability is unreliable compared to twichs board wide bullets.

I always run black rose twitch whenever possible. Gives twitch time to ramp up his guinsoo. So far, if not a win, its a top 4.

Little feedback. I dislike how the tierlist only shows gigacapped versions of some boards. Its great to know how to play with 2 black rose emblems, but realistically its super rare to get that, and the tierlist doesnt give advice on how to play with 1 or 0 emblems. It always feels like that without emblems according to your tierlist everything is B tier, when in reality it isnt. Just dont know what my options are when I dont highroll an emblem 2-1

He said in the video that the comps are good as soon as you hit 5 Black Rose. He only put the emblems in there to show that they are the most straightforward way to further cap your board.

i think you definitely should add anomaly recommendations for the specific units in the guide, since in this patch anomaly can actually change the impact of the units that are given, thus the outcome of the game.

theres an augment for the ambushers idk whats it called but basically the higher the crit on ambushers the better loot you get to the point where youre getting like 5 stars for free at like 3-1 its insane

One big thing you can improve on your tierlists. Its not rly for me or good players but mostly for casual players. When i play with friends that are casuals i dont have time to think about my teamcomp and also 2 other teamcomps so i always point them to some tierlists or something. But i NEVER point them to your tierlists and its bcs its very bad for casuals. Tierlists (IMO) are mostly and should be for casuals and not for good players bcs good players should know whats best and how to build to it. First thing when casuals open and see your tierlist and teamcomps are emblems and 5costs (which is to cap your boards not that you need them to work for core comp). But you need to look through not your eyes but from casuals perspective. They dont rly know its only for capping your board. With your tierlists its like some cars, good looking but not rly functional. Like black rose for example. You are lvling to 8th and then you roll to stabilize around 4costs not 5costs but most ppl dont know it bcs they are casuals they put 5costs into teambuilder and then are sad bcs their comp didnt work bcs they didnt hit 5costs. And thats the problem bcs casuals then can get mad on game and so on and wont get better bcs if you show them just end game comp (capped) then they dont understand what to do when rolls dont go your way or you hit some different things. Thats why i always points everyone mostly on sologesang tier list. He have good build up to what you should roll on each lvl what your core build should be on 8th without legendaries bcs you wont hit them its slim chance you hit good ones that you need (sometimes its better to play upgraded lower cost units than 5cost 1*) so casual players wont be mad bcs they know that without 5costs this is your build and then you go 9th and roll for 5costs. Also with reroll comps. You show end game builds but for example last set reroll comp Ahri/zoe/bastions. You showed end game build but didnt show what your core build should be on lvl 5/6. And ppl rolled on lvl 5 hit ryze and since they saw it should be there they put it over hecarim/lillia/poppy when its not correct bcs front line sucks then. Also then they lvl up to 6th and they didnt play 4 bastion/2schollar but they played 3 and 3 bcs they found high cost and think its better bcs your build showed that it should be there and dont think that shen/nunu would be better. Same concept, you showed end game board and casuals dont know what they need to do correctly and its bad for education then (if your point with tierlists are to educate people). Good players know what to do but they wont look into tierlists or mostly they just open end game and saw what should be cap and then close it. So basically you should revise your whole concept of tierlists and show it like ladder that you climb through lvls and whats best to do on that lvl and so on bcs from outside it looks great but functionality is very poor from my perspective and from what i interact with casuals. Dont take this as hate bcs its not ment to be its just objective criticism and what you should maybe upgrade on tierlist and some ideas.

1. Tier lists can absolutely be good for better players. TFT constantly changes, whether it be direct balance changes from devs, meta shifts as player knowledge grows, or popularity of builds fluctuating. Keeping on top of it by yourself is almost impossible, so knowing what's generally considered good at a glance is helpful and if anything higher level players use the information better because it just helps to make an informed opinion rather than followed as gospel. 2. While it's true that the TFT Academy website isn't super noob friendly, you really aren't reading it right. Each comp has a tip bar on the right to give general info/when to play it, a quick level 4 comp at the top to give you a generally good opener, and instructions at the bottom for stages 3, 4 and 5. While it isn't super in depth, it usually says "stabilize around X, then level to 9 for Y". If people don't read it's on them. 3. I think you're over exaggerating how complex TFT is at a casual level. While the game is just one big knowledge check, you can go far with simple rules like "focus on 1 frontline unit and 1 backline" and "pick one or two traits to go vertical in". The game itself has become way more accessible in recent years with things like the team builder, showing current shop odds, item suggestions and even the new item UI. Besides, half the joy of TFT is messing around to see what works. Tier lists really discourage that, so I wouldn't point my friend to any sort of tier list. If they're the kind of player that gets discouraged that a comp doesn't work or they missed a roll down and bit 4, well, that's TFT sometimes, love it or hate it. It's just not for everyone. It's the players that bounce back from a loss and say "I want to do that again, but tweak this" or "I missed this time, but next game is when I hit" that stick around.

i had really good succsess with morde carry with qss, rageblade and jeweled gauntlet or a omnivamp item. Like once you have a 2star morde with those items its almost impossible to lose a fight since he basicly wins on his own
