To be fair, Surely the CSCZ has less server then the original, but it's not as heavily modded as the Original, It's really hard to find a server a normal server in CS 1.6 without being overwhealment by mods, weapons skins, modules or other game breaking mechanics, in CSCZ most of the server are actully normal! With only few addons but berly noticiable not to break the immersion

Man I remember that star wars map. I also remember the version of cs_siege with the APC, that thing was absolutely hilarious. You could turn it into a certain light pole and have it sink through the floor into the sewers, it was so hilarious to be running through and then just suddenly a tank drops on top of you and kills you out of nowhere.

I recommend also checking out Counter-Strike Online 2. Since it is basically a remaster of 1.6/cz with the same classic maps. Tho not enough players playing it, maybe if you organize an event it will be super fun.

there's single player missions with this release, i think is called Condition Zero: Deleted Scenes. this counter strike game was overshadowed by the source games, it was a bad time for this game to be released.

Nahhh CZ ?? That was my childhood game, holy. I have "CZ pirated version" got it from CD that brought it on mall. It has modded as well which is custom weapon ( With sfx ) and NPC skin ( which is female hostage 💀 ).

I kid you not my first ever experiance with Counter Strike as a kid was CZ but it was moded with CS source models for guns and hands I pirated it thinking it was normal CS 1.6 and never realized I was playing CZ with source models until recently when I saw the hostages models of CZ and remembered thoes hostage models in the game I had

I did tried Condition Zero after your recent 1.6 and I loved it. Deleted Scenes - It was fun, though it lacked the team aspect of the original and the enemies might have been bullshit sometimes (oh the enemy used LAM against you, sucks to suck am I right?), but it is fun for one playthrough. Condition Zero on it's own, I do enjoy the looks, that it has bots support by default, that it accepts all CS1.6 maps, extra skin per side (Spetsnaz and Milita). Even the Hostages that try their best to make whole world know that they spotted you have their charm (like apologising to you if you on Terror team). Nice graphics that still have this GoldSource look, making them look right at home even on classic 1.6 version of maps. Issues? Much smaller modding scene, or just gamebanana purges. Orange hostages are easily mistaken with Orange dressed terror skin. Given it being basically an upgraded 1.6 I'm not sure why it haven't got all that love. Wish it had more advanced rounds settings. I do like the idea of half-way team swap and zero-ing cash. It might be unpopular opinion, but I think we could have more VIP missions, would be fun to have terrorist version of that too. (but heck, bots noo!) It does have career mode, but I never got used to teams that don't hold at least 12 players each. Never tried it online, while others at least once in my life.

Meanwhile, here I am enjoying CS1.6, CSCZ, Quake3, UT99, UT2004, BF2, BlackOps2, RedFaction2, XIII, TimeSplitters2, and various RTS skirmish, with just bots or AI players ever since I was a kid. Always love botmatch/offline-MP/skirmish mode in games. It doesn't have the restrictions of a story campaign, and it doesn't require me to bother someone else to have my fun.

I found the map and its peak, all the changes make it feel like an actual CZ map. Also CZ is peak, its like 1.6 Remastered with all the new stuff it brought. Shame that it doesn't have the recognition it deserves.
