Great Camera Work in Tight Spaces. How difficult to pull the whole front bumper?
@manji_tv8 ай бұрын
Its much more difficult to pull the bumper and accessories like radiator/ heat exchanger/ condenser etc. You would have to evacuate AC system as well. Would be a whole lot of unnecessary work to do it that way. Would be easier to remove engine and front subframe over front bumper and accessories. hope this helps!

if im that far into the engine i'd swap out the chain for a new one, your already in there you should really do it
@manji_tv4 ай бұрын
@@jimboforuk if the engine is high mileage say above 80k or so I would agree and do the guides as well but some customers don’t want to pay the extra cost. Chain failure is not normal with these engines and this particular car only had about 16k miles so really not necessary. But valid Forsure as these engines age and higher mileage ones as well.

I have a question my ikon headlight but the outer ring on my right headlight is dimmer than the rest what are the fixes

Could be defective or bad wiring or ballast hard to say. Bring it in for inspection if possible!

Can this be removed with a crank puller tool if needed ?
@manji_tvАй бұрын
Yes, VTT makes a special puller tool to remove it if needed!

i feel like the crankhub is blown out of proportion. My buddy just hit 100k on his m4 and has no issues with timing or any signs of crankhub failure. Matter a fact i know a couple others above 50k miles without crankhub failure. All are above stage 1 ots tunes
@manji_tv4 ай бұрын
you are good for the most part without it on stage 1, 2 or even 2+ but if you want to run ethanol is where the issues really start to happen. My personal car was on stage 2+ 91 octane for years without issue. 3 weeks after switching to E85 i spun the hub on a clutch kick drift initiation in 3rd gear. Immediate codes for timing and car hardly idled. Retimed and hub upgrade whilst in there and now i have peace of mind to beat it as hard as i want. its 2-3k insurance plan for your engine. defininently worth it IMO

Had a first gen '15 M4 manual, 65k with no issues, currently have 2018 F80 manual, stage 1 & ethanol @55k

@@dinosoarskill17 Yeah its usually after stage 2 or custom tune when it happens!

I was saying exactly what you were saying. Blew my hub earlier tonight just before the street races, stage2+ custom E45 tune. Have had it tuned for over 2 years, took it to Germany, did the Nürburgring, sightseeing, street racing in Sweden and roadtrips to everywhere. Many miles, but it does happen.
