Thank you for this video! The dots you see on Epson is the print resolution of the printer (dpi) you can't change that on the settings, I returned an Epson for the same reason, so one of the key things to look out while purchasing a printer is the resolution it prints in. 🤩🤩🤩

HP, use thin sticker paper and maybe laminate tape and cut the laminate tape smaller then the black square or else the effectiveness of the laminate will block the cricut laser from secreting the corners

Every HP that I have had will print on the printable vinyl including my Envy. Are you sure what you have is not Cricut sticker paper? You can also try putting just one sheet of the printable vinyl in your feed tray.

Sounds like it is not hooked up to your computer properly or it is not communicating. Try printing a test page from your computer to check it.

I am having trouble printing on water slide paper. The ink color is light and smears. I’m have HP deskjet 2622 and a canon TS3522. The HP is light in color and smears easily and the canon will only print part of the print and cut border around the image. It as well is light in color. You can play with different paper settings. Maybe a gloss setting if it is glossy?

First, I would try playing with the settings. There is a crop to fit setting and a few more that could be throwing you off. Second, your image may have dead area around it. You can try increasing the zoom percent when printing or cropping the image before sending it.

You can use printable HTV or transfer sheets with this. Sublimation is done with sublimation ink and would not work with this printer.

Hi, I am trying to decide on which printer to get for my Cricut Air Explore 2. I do a lot of print outs. I recently had a (HP DeskJet= 2725. I can no longer connect to my HP Envy laptop X360. I do a lot of crafts (Cardstock to printable stickers and Iron-on print outs for hand bangs and T-shirts. It stopped working a few weeks ago. I am trying to find a printer on a budget that works well with my laptop. If someone could help me that would be great. My guess would be you would have a tough time printing on something that thick. Click the use system dialogue box with you are printing to change print settings.

Heat transfer paper can be used with printers like these. Sublimation cannot. Heat transfer paper does put your image on a shirt, however, it will not last very long.

Just letter size works for printable vinyl and water slide. Play around with changing it to a matte paper setting for the printable vinyl as that will make your print better. I also always print on best quality for crafts.

So I am not a huge fan of how long printable HTV lasts so I usually don't test it. But you would get the same results roughly as the printable vinyl.

Is the paper white or a color? Print then cut does not work on colored paper on an Explore 2 or earlier machine. That might be it?

Seriously print then cut on the older machines ONLY works on WHITE paper. I can't even get it to work on like a kraft color. Try white and I bet it will work.

I am looking at a printer just for the photo part of it. Sams club got rid of their photo department. When I am out on my girls scrapbooking retreat I would pick out photos off my computer and make the pages. I add those photos to my cart at Sams club and then send to order them so I can pick them up the next day. But now that department doesn't exist anymore. So I am thinking have a printer with me would be easier. Looking at Epson Ecotank, the one with the card reader and then the Epson Picturemate PM400. The first one is 350-400 and the other one is 250 to 300.
