When I saw the pastel version on your Instagram stories I bought the pattern. Was just waiting for your video to come out. I love how you go over everything step by step. I’m a visual learner, so your videos are so helpful to me, since you’re one of the few who actually make well edited, step-by-step tutorials. Plus you’re just a joy to watch. Thanks for being you!

I've made a couple of these! I can hardly wait to make one out of printed vinyl. I made one out of all vinyl, and yep, I quilted my own. Then I made one out of all waterproof canvas for a man bag. Totally works! I used 11oz Ottertex for the WPC and it works great for card slots - with no interfacing. And, like you, I love the inside pockets! Thanks for sharing! And thank you for keeping up your Monday tutorials. I look forward to them.

so, I made mine yesterday and today - with soft vinyl and quilt cotton - it was all good until we had to do the curves!!! Staples are my friends!! I had to tear out my corners in a few places to fix them and I am not a binding person but had to do it - not as bad as I though ti would be and I have a Janome M7 Professional which is pretty darn good for not being an industrial. I will post a pic of my beauty - a few mistakes of course but I would do a second one knowing what the tough spots are now - Thank you for the great video - I did do the attachments in the back and they are great and I love the inside pocket! You're right, there are lots of things to do with this bag and lots of places to put your own design on it! Thanks for the great tutorial. I will send you a pic

I love your videos. You make bag making seem so easy and fun. I love the style of this bag so I figured I’d give it a try. Cutting out is not my favorite but the rest was fun til I got to the last bit. Putting the last three pieces together was so difficult. I don’t know if it was the material (cork), my machine (not enough room in the needle area), inexperience. It took me all day just to do that part, but I did it. The outside is not perfect. The seams are a mess. Thank God they’re covered with binding, even that looks like hell. I am exhausted but I’m very happy that I got it done. I wouldn’t have done it without your video. I’ll try to put a photo. Thank you, Mary Burke.😊

just finished this bag i have to say it took me ages to cut everything out but it’s a really nice one to make. i used teal scuba fabric for the gusset and strap and a white textured vinyl for the main panels. it looks amazing even with my crazy corners. 😆
