This is probably the first video I've seen that tackles low-touch and high-touch funnels AND explains it in depth! Always enjoy learning a thing or two from you. Cheers, man!

Hi Rob, I am a founder of a ventured-back SaaS. We are running the business as a high touch funnel. I personally own a micro SaaS with low touch as well. Could you do a video to give more insights regarding how team structure and product fit into dual funnels and how it impacts the funding valuation given the metrics are so divided?
@MicroConf2 жыл бұрын
If we get other requests for this kind of video we’ll consider it. I haven’t heard of dual funnels impacting valuations, whether funding or acquisition. Team structure is relatively simple - you’ll need a marketing team focused on optimizing the low-touch funnel and a sales team handling the high-end leads. The good news is if you do it really well, the low-touch funnel will feed your high-tough funnel without much need for outbound prospecting.

Hi Rob, I know nothing about sales funnels low touch / high touch etc.. could you go into more details of a duel funnel system. It sounds interesting and I’m loving this channel I’m learning so much, thank you for educating me!

not to be a jerk but just do both haha. imo outsource for the low touch and do the high touch yourself
@luminrabbit94882 жыл бұрын
@@Steve-td1ph Hi Steve, it’s difficult to do both when you don’t know all of the ins and outs or what they are? I’ll be doing some research. Would you be kind enough to provide feedback? Sounds like you are already experienced with this.

hi Rob, great video. What do you think are the top strategies to scaling SaaS once you have 1000-10,000 customers - out of SEO, emails, paid advertising, Capterra/G2 partnerships?
@MicroConf Жыл бұрын
At that point, you’ll likely need a multi-prong approach to keep scaling at a decent growth rate. Depending on your business, all of the above can work. I cover ~20 SaaS marketing approaches in my new book, The SaaS Playbook if you are looking for more - saasplaybook.com

In the early days, should the demo calls and sales calls be run by one or multiple people?
@MicroConf2 жыл бұрын
Usually they are handled by one founder, but if multiple founders are good at it and enjoy it there’s no reason to limit it.

What is the best performing sales funnel for self serve SaaS business with no sales involvement at all.
@MicroConf2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark, there’s no one ‘best’ sales funnel, as that will largely depend on your product and the customers you are targeting. But I would typically start with the low-touch funnel I described in this video, and go with my gut on whether to ask for credit card up front before the trial.

IMO your free trial option should introduce a new, more easily solvable problem that your paid plan solves easily (and is easily demonstrated)
