The best cycling track in the world. Bangkok Sky Lane

Right at the edge of Bangkok metropolis lies one of the best cycling facility in the world. Created by AOT and sponsored by Siam Commercial Bank, 'Sky Lane' is a 23.5 kilometres closed circuit cycling loop built solely for cyclists.
To access the track, cyclists need to use their RFID tag to enter (and exit) the gate. The facility opens from 6am until 6pm with solar powered light posts all around the track. It also contains Sky Bridge - a 3 kilometres long overpass bridge connecting from long term car park area right in to the track. The track can be seen from the satellite.
Outside the loop you have a car park suitable for 2,000-3,000 vehicles. The track sees at least 6,000 cyclists per day during the weekend. Toilets are available both outside and inside the track. Guards and medical team are stationed round the clock in case of emergency.
Granted the area is pan flat with zero elevation gain. Nevertheless, in a city where traffic is considered one of the most dangerous and congested in the world, Sky Lane is a god send to all Bangkok cyclists. If you have a chance, try it at least once!

how I can get there with my bike? what is the best way? not easy to decide on google maps, which way I should use from bangkok to there with my bike. so I am worried the highways on google maps yellow I cannot take in Thailand, right?

Hi Emest, it is possible to ride to the cycling track but you will have to use local roads rather than the main motorway. If you use Google map, search "sky lane" and select the option on the map too 'avoid toll / high ways' then it should redirect you to the local road that gets you to the track. On the other hand, I suggest you grab a taxi (take off your wheels first, put the frame in the back seat, and the wheels in the trunk) and ask the driver to get you there. If they can converse in English you can ask them to get there without getting on a highway. Alternatively, try GRAB taxi app and choose Grab Car. Most driver tends to know English more than your random taxis on the street.
