I have the equalizer for that compartment somewhere in my mom's garage Would look better with the oil cooler under side of bumper and hose going underneath, not through the missing headlight. It looks stupid and vulnerable for damage.

That's a matter of personal choice on what is or isn't stupid. The bumper mounted cooler was so esoterically Japan.
