Hello Professor, I just wanted to chip in on the BCW x4 Prime. It was made for the Transformers TCG, which came with regular and extra large cards. I've asked you in the past if you could review the deck box, so I'm happy to see you finally did. Decks in the Transformer TCG have 40 cards usually, so I guess they didn't need to allow for extra room for double sleeved cards. Even if you double sleeve your cards (not really needed for an unpopular game that's been around for just 5 sets), you could fit a 40 card deck in there. The Transformers TCG game is now considered dead, thanks to disapointing sales, a fandom that didn't pick up an awesome game when it was thrown in their laps and the current pandemic. That could mean supply of this deck box might dry up soon as well.

The BCW Prime was initially designed with the Transformers TCG in mind, they showed them to some of us at the Energon Invitational at PAXU last year. Which is why it has the token space, removable divider (for TF Character Cards), and the smaller slots (TF used 40 card decks, with 10 card sideboards).

Most amusing thing about the BCW boxes is the marketing materials. The packaging and images make it clear that the product was designed with the Transformers TCG in mind, when the sides expand they have enough space to fit the oversized character cards in toploaders. The boxes hit shelves just in time for Hasbro to pull the plug on the game.

Honestly have 2 bcw cases before you reviewed them. I also have them at least an A-. However I ended up using my cases for a few deck building games and card games. I know this is a primarily MTG channel but, hear me out, the BCW deckbox is PERFECTION for Pokemon. I am kinda tired manufacturers that make specifically Pokemon deckboxes that hold up to 100 cards in a single compartiment but... Pokemon doesn't have 100 card decks. Gimmie 120 at the very least so I can fit 2 decks! This is exactly what Ultra Pro is doing and is mind buggling to me. And the majority of time people single sleeve their decks and some even advise against double sleeving because it makes the shuffling more difficult, especially in a tournament setting. The only reason why I felt mentioning this is because 1. This is a product review video rather than specifically MTG (hence why I am here) and 2. You do mention Pokemon in almost all product review videos and do appreciate the mention.

Points on what I consider to be the ubiquitous, universal and therefore imo BEST deck-box: Should be able to fit, in their respective areas - 1 double-sleeved EDH deck (bonus points for removable divider that can be added for custom fit so box can be used for modern instead if desired) - 20 single-sleeved tokens (again, massive brownie points if this is a separate section) - A dice area (room for 6 spin-down dice, which is enough room for ANYBODY) Should be sturdily constructed, and less than $35 That being said, this Quiver looks perfect! As far as deck boxes go, I have multiple thousand dollar decks. But I would really want to see is a deck box that is as solid as the REP gaming deck boxes made from galvannealed steel, with waterproofing. I want someone to be able to spell a Coke on my deck box and have it be just fine after toweling it off. All of my cards are double sleeved and some decks are even triple sleeved. I am a huge fan of the resealable sleeves from dragon shield. All this to say there also needs to be a good amount of space for something like an almost 4 times sleeved commander deck. Also 10 out of 10 I love the latch on the REP deck box, it is never going to be accidentally opened. I just wish it was waterproof, and had a little bit of an area to store some dice.
