They're so weird when it comes to what anime decks to severely nerf. D/D/D and Speedroid are barely touched yet Raidraptors and Lunalights got completely destroyed despite all being Arc V decks.

Tell me about it! Been trying to learn Lunalight recently and thought a lower power event would be great practice. Then I looked at the deck and realized that I am definitely not good enough of a pilot to try playing what’s left after the banlist! At least it gives me an excuse to practice my Marincess deck again!

@@anotokinatsukashii I play Lunalight and can tell you straight up that it's unplayable this event. You want to maximize your tiger/chick combo but that's not going to happen with both limited to 1 and no tenki (but rota is left untouched!!).

I'm really hoping they stop doing this. Just let us play the decks we want. If it has a busted otk, or a stupid resource gain, or obnoxious control fine hit it, but if it's not meta, and it's only good not great leave it alone.

Not a deck everyone would craft, but HERO can also do their own Calamity Lock with Cosmo Neos, and it's the most consistent it has ever been thanks to Infernal Rage. All the pieces for that are legal, and if for some reason they can't; summoning Shining Neos on the opponent's turn is also crazy strong. All that while you can get Plasma or something up on your field.

I was excited for TGs, but Calamity really ruined it for me. I wouldn't mind it errata'd to require a Resonator tuner before I ban it. I'd want it to be a good boss for RDA instead of another spashable VFD.

T.G. will be setting up an omni negate trap so 1 book of moon will probably not be enough to stop calamity, we need multiple outs. Konami know what they are doing tho, they have banned almost all the handtraps that stop TG Calamity lol, it's Veiler on Dragonar or Death pretty much

It doesn't make sense to have that deck available. It is also available for the Synchro/Link festival. So, you can clear the entire thing with one deck. I'm going with Amazement for the Anthology and with Simorg for the Synch/Link one.

Tested Salamangreat yesterday with a friend and it feels really strong. You compensate the lack of engine with extenders like Will, Archiver, 3 Jaguar and Terrortop and the deck can actually play through interruptions. Idk why tf they kept Calamity legal tho.

Something quite funny about ddd this festival is that you play the other ddd lvl 10 synchro instead because instead of making barrone you give your board targeting protection against book, chalice etc.

If check in detail, blackwing been hits ridiculously hard in this event and it funny for theme of this event as it is focus on acceleration and acceleration is theme for yugioh 5DS anime, we duel on the motorbike, blackwing is part 5DS anime. Asside then blackwing been hits, their ban lyrilusc Nightingale so no more attack directly OTK like most people will do in the event. About king calamity, if your have imperm which the one and only card can stop king calamity, once King calamity hit the field insantly imperm it, to avoid king calamity activate floodgate effect.

But I don't think it'll deal with the decks core issues of "Gilgamesh getting negated is GG without a god hand" and "Bystials ruin your life." I hope I'm wrong and more is coming but I think they'll still probably be strugging even at the rogue level.

@@Capta1nTD Bystial is all limited in OCG even that still few decks bring these now except Branded or Dragon Link which still hard to be seen now And when we get throne, we get copernicus by throne easier-and that let some combo which can try to not die from imperm to Gilgamesh more often. And in the new ddd, we put Vaylantz world set and Set rotation-can lock imperm/lighting storm/evently

It's just T.G. Ninjas don't put up an ftk turn 1 but this is probably gonna be a format where going 2nd is a losing mu whatever you play bc of the lack of hts. Ninjas happen to be susceptible to s/t removal as well.
