my last murder case happened in front of city hall while I was buying armor. I took a photo as it was happening I witnessed the altercation before she pulled the trigger by sheer luck I have all the murderer's information, And another notable murder case I had the cop that was guarding the door of the victim, was the murderer. I had fun watching you play this game so I had to try it for myself🤣

@@Angeldoggyy If you say one case took you some hours.. does that mean, the cases are normally under an hour? If so, wouldn' it be "quite boring" (idk the game yet, but it seems pretty interesting..) so like idk how it exactly works, if the world is procedurally generated or only the AI/Cases .. but like you walk around a bit, find your dead body and solve the case in less than a hour, maybe less than 30 mins .. if so, that would be quite "meh" to me.. because a good riddle has to take time, or is that just my vision on it haha Maybe you can tell me if there are like multiple cases per save-file or only one (or maybe if there can be multiple at the same time?) and is the world procedurally generated too, like city building/placement different per save-file or not? would help a lot

1:26:58 - That happens because of the sleeping phases cycle, that we go through during night. The whole cycle completes in about 1,5-2h and then starts over from the start. Being pulled out from the deep sleep phase is what usually causes this awful feeling like if the whole body was beaten down and you had no rest at all. That's why after sleeping 6h one can feel well rested, but absolutely broken after sleeping 7h, and then again well rested after sleeping 8h. And so on

what I'm hearing is, "go to bed and hope the RNG lets you wake up rested; if not, go back to sleep and reroll." got it :P

​@@Mangaka718 Haha :D Well it's just something, that needs individual observation. If one knows how their body reacts to different amount of sleep, even without knowledge about sleeping cycles, they still can plan their night accordingly. It's more RNG, when one has troubles on falling asleep, or very light sleep in general, this way all planning can be thrown out the window XD The phases don't go straight from 1 to 4 either, in the middle of the cycle they kinda switch back and forth between phase 2, which is a light one, and phase 3, the deep sleep one. But at the end of each full cycle comes the dreaming phase (REM), it's where the coast is clear and one can wake up pretty much without a nasty jetlag, at least from my experience. It's also the reason, why we usually wake up on our own right after dreaming, since it's where cycle restarts back to phase 1, which is the lightest sleep of all. But ye, having any sleep disturbance - better to pray to RNG gods to have mercy on you XDD

@@Mangaka718 I feel ya 🤝 I think, there were only few times in my life, when I woke up and was like "Huh, I'm actually well rested?". There are so many possible conditions, that can affect our energy level, be it something physical as low arterial blood pressure, or mental as depression, for example. Since when getting rest feels like having an exam in science class XD

@@Insym Thanks... other options would be building or street names. I also love the idea of club meetings. Because right now all people do is work, eat, and home. And the hobby stuff only comes up when you ask people "who is this" and they list the person's interests or when you look at work files which for some reason record interests

@@Thrythlind ​ @Insym the hobbies are actually related to items found around the house. For example: If someone likes calligraphy, there will be a calligraphy desk in their home. Music means a record player. Weightlifting means weights / drugs for strength. Etc etc. It's more of a verification. If you have a suspect, and know the culprit likes calligraphy, but there is no calligraphy desk in the suspect's house, they likely aren't the culprit.

I checked the workplace and found his murderer covered in blood still. He then left work again to immediately go murder someone else.

Definitely want a series! I usually just watch your stream and videos and have you in the background or tune in for 30 minutes to listen to your banter and leave. But I started watching and got absolutely STUCK. This is the first video I watched from start to finish without speeding up or skipping through. Don't know if that says more about me or how good the game is but I love your enthusiasm when you're playing this game it's infectious and idk I just love how you see things and how you think. I like the "good" runs because I tried playing this game, but the fear of being caught after doing anything bad made me so nervous. I know there are some situations where you need to break into stuff, but I wish there were other ways. I'm just a girl 😂 Edit: 2:17:18 "Not you, not you .." so reminded me of the BBC Sherlock. I think you said you never watched it, but I absolutely love it! One of my favorite adaptations of Sherlock.

Regarding that sleep thing. Waking up during different parts of your REM cycle explains why sometimes you have a GREAT sleep and others you feel so lethargic. It's an interesting read if you don't mind some light reading.

1:28:45 I love Kingdom Come: Deliverance for the exact same reason. I played that game for more hours than I needed to, just because how immersive it is, and for the fact that you have to think for yourself sometimes. The first time I found out you can actually physically steal items from shop's storage, which you gotta crack very hard locks to steal them, I was blown away. It's those small kinds of things in games. Anyway, I'm here after a while, building up the mood to watch the latest playthrough, to take it all in. It being closer to summer doesn't give it the same vibes as if it was winter, and you could curl up in a blanket... etc.

You're so right about how this game creates connections - I started a new save (with the tutorial case so I could get the achievement for doing that case haha), and so far in that new city every single case and murder I've gotten has been in the same building. It'll be really funny if eventually I end up moving into that building, too.

Insym, you can also just look at the gov database on the computer in the room where you´re not trespassing. You don´t have to go into the room with the camera sign on it.

Playing this game while watching you play, my second case had a murder in a apartment room and i was able to pick up a fingerprint, used the note to see about ppl in their address book, and decided to check the ones on the same level and picked up the fingerprints right on the door to the left of the murder apartment, and yep it was them. One of my fastest cases ever, so much fun!

Dude, I had no clue this game existed, and I love detective games. I play on console, so that might be why I haven't heard of it. A simulated detective game sounds awesome, thanks for showing it to me. I just checked the Xbox store, and it says it's coming soon in 2024 for console, but I might just get it on PC now so I can play it sooner. I'll definitely come back to watch your other videos, even though I'm guessing they show the version before the update.

The main way I get around in the different buildings is ventilation ducts. I got the cartographer disc pretty early, so I made sooo much money through that. I hardly ever need to do side-jobs to make more. Though I do steal the occasional sync disc just for funsies xD

Something else that would be cool is if there was a new Murder Case when you are the one being framed and you have to find the actual killer to not only solve the case but to also clear your name.
