I'm like twice your age, been riding on and off since I was 10, recently moved away from dirt, but for some reason I can't get this sweet little bike out of my head, it's the only bike I want at the moment... Probably because I always liked the 80s but they're way too small for me to really have fun on and I don't want another full size dirt bike right now. I'm definitely gonna buy one if it can handle my weight and the type of riding I do.

Definitely a nice bike. Would like to see full size wheels on it though. Kawi needs a 2 stroke 125/250/500, like the old days. BTW you gotta stay on the pipe for those big hills That 3rd time you we’re on it. Can’t loose momentum.

Im 6 foot 230 and ride 450s. And even I want a kx112 badly cause it's an awesome little bike. I live out in the country and we are allowed to ride dirt bikes on county roads as long as you have a brake light don't speed. So it's awesome to pop wheelies, go to gas stations for drinks or ride too a friends house.

I’m 51 and I’m thinking about getting a 112. My friends and I would ride CR/KX 80’s back in the 1980’s and it was a blast. Then we got into ATVs and now I’ve got a Polaris 570. I miss the craziness of 2 stroke dirt bikes so the KX112 definitely seems like a fun bike to rip around on.

I just turned 50 and race a 112 in Hare Scrambles. Had the suspension redone and put bar risers on it to open it up a bit. Has plenty of power and 75% of the time you're not going full tilt anyways. Knees still cramped but that's not bad compared to having to pick up a 450 off the ground multiple times. I can motor up hills with my boots dragging and balancing myself while my competition is all tipping over cause they cant touch the ground.

Take a look at the ktm xc 125, much better bike than the 112

@@benblazek3305 I just took a look at the XC125. Definitely nice, especially the fuel injection, but it’s a lot. The KX112 is around $5,500 compared to the KTM being almost $9k. I don’t know if it’s worth it for my purposes (just having an extra toy to play around with) since I mainly ride my Polaris Sportsman 570 when I ride.

I learned how to ride on a KX100, that thing was fast but it looks like a baby bike (I am an adult with inseam challenged, btw). Own many street bikes since, but wanting to get back to dirt and am considered this one.

1996 cr250 was the best bike I’ve owned Reliable FAST light enough and can lug on the trails like a 230f

@@bullet95781 mine was actually a 95 looking back 🤷🏻 learned that just before It got stolen.. I think it was sold as a 96 because the 96 was a hyped bike or because I was born in 96 like my first truck (ranger with 30k) I just stretched the truth 😂

Great vid for the rider looking for their first Moto X bike... looks like you can shift with one finger and breaking is exceptional...KLX230 or KX.... They're Kawz, Nuff Said. Be aware...the tag say: Dirt Bike for Beginners.... If you are beginner / first time rider / Novice rider... KX (Moto X) bike my NOT be the best "first" "dirt" bike. The KLX Off-Road may be a better choice. Different suspension, easier to handle. Lighter on the power plant. Learning on flat rides with less power will help you out a lot. Add in the enduro / trail riding will really hone your skills...

A yz 125 is the tallest a bike gets a kx 112 is reasonable height you gotta be like 5,6 to touch ground flat maybe even 5,8

You wouldn't need to flip the bike around if it was a 450, A 450 would climb that hill like nothing 😅 and that KX112 should make it up you just have to go full throttle, don't let off and don't shift up to early stay in each gear till it revs high the shift up and down shift when you're bogging.

Those bikes are made for 13yr old kids to race super mini's. You are too heavy for the bike. You are halfway through the stroke of the rear shock just sitting on it, you need a man's bike made for am adult rider
