Thank you for all the info. Just to give an example of how big WDW is, Universal Islands of Adventure is 110 acres. WDW's Kilimanjaro Safaris expedition is the same size. And the safari expedition is just one attraction.

I feel like saying universal is the same price as disney is completely incorrect. As some who goes to both. There is alot more cash grabs coming from Disney. With multiple services. In my opinion.

I’d love a little more detail here my friend??? Disney and Universal offer a lot of similar “cash grabs”

@@HappyPlaceStudiosyeah I should clarify. I came from universal primary and got a AP for Disney because I haven't been since a child and always heard negative things as far as how "expensive it can be". My biggest gripe and maybe I'm just spoiled to how Universal would do things is. You have the perks for your pass. Discounts etc. Disney has the discounts as well but you can't use it everywhere like I went to a place inside of magic kingdom to buy food and they told me sorry we don't do the pass holder discounts here. Which to me blew my mind cause in coming from universal I'm so accustomed to flash my AP and they give discounts in the park and all over city walk. So Disney does offer 20% but someone like me who has no idea what stores or places accept it just makes it a little frustrating. The free parking is great too but universal also gives free HHN admission with the highest pass (I'm comparing both highest passes here for context) but Disney you have to pay to enjoy all the extra events and they don't give a free admission to anything. So for me the value of a AP at universal gives you more than a Disney AP does. Which is why I feel like it's a bit of a cash grab technique. But yeah all parks have their own forms of cash grabbing. I won't pretend to be blind on that. As well as universals benefits for certain passes like free fast pass after a certain time and all that. Really makes it worth it when you factor in the average price of a fast pass for the day. As far as I know , and like I said I'm new to Disney and I have much much to learn but Disney doesn't offer a free fast pass after a time for the highest pass holder or anything like that. I'll admit the whole genie plus and lighting pass things I'm going to need a damn course on because I don't understand one bit but maybe that's the equivalent and I'm just unaware. That's just my thoughts and why I think saying they're a similar expense is just a little off. The base prices are close I do get that being over 1k each but the benefits really iron out the pass to me. I'm not including hotels or stuff cause that's obviously to each their own and whatever tickles the fancy. I'm someone who can stay in a box and be happy cause I'm only there to sleep and go out I never stay in the hotels.

Haha thanks! I agree when it comes to the luxuries pass holders that Disney is more stingy with perks and that all started after the close downs of Covid where perks started being pulled. Some things are limited to the highest tier of holder which is DVC members. Passholders at Disney aren’t the highest tier like at Universal so they don’t get as much! The prices I was talking about were for the people that may only go once a year or every couple of years.
