Everything looked fine until you mentioned 2k clear!!? Cheap and nasty, And should never used on headlights ever!! If it's not written on the can for headlights don't use it!! Most certified manufactured clearcoats take into account that over time clearcoats will start to fail, So restoration has tobe done again!!Not only is 2k far to hard for headlights and should only be used on car bodies only, Furthermore a complete nightmare to remove!! And in some cases have permanently damaged the polycarbonate that is beyond repair!! So be warned cheap is not aways best!!😢🤔😭

Thanks for the info bud! Will definitely look into what you've mentioned here, not entirely sure if the clear coat is 2k, it's just a habit to say that at this point. Using clear is something I've done a few times before and I've had good results hence the reason for continuing to use this method but I appreciate your input and will definitely read about it to be better in future!
