He reminds me so much of my late dog. He was a beagle, but I swear Pollux's eyes, expressions, and temperament are so similar. Even his colouring reminds me of my dog. My dog was also a rescue who's shelter-given name we kept because it described him perfectly when we looked up the meaning, just like Pollux 🧡

I have 3 dogs and they all love stuffed animals. I go to Goodwill, and you'd be surprised of the stuffed animals you can find. For $1 - $2 each, I'll buy up a bunch of them and I don't care so much when they get destroyed. :-) :-) Happy Birthday Pollux!

Since Pollux was born at the shelter, are you able to get pictures of him as a puppy? I adopted an adult cat that was born in a foster home and they were able to send me pictures of her as a kitten. I nearly cried!

Has he learned to use the doggy door to the back yard yet? Happy Birthday Pollux! We celebrating one week of having Rory the new cat. Bought the catnips toys off your Amazon cat list of items. Rory is basically a tripod as his front left paw was injured at some item and can't bear weight. So figured he'd enjoy someone he could lie down with and cuddle. He's a little red tabby at 5.8 pounds, and loves to sleep being held. ❤

My rescue dog was about Pollux’s age when we brought him home. I gave him his name of Indiana Jones (Indy). He was highly adventurous. Beautiful dog and did not shed. He destroyed his toys in no time flat. Anyway, long story short, he ended up having to have surgery due to a bowel blockage. He survived and I survived. Needless to say, I had to change his toys out to Kong only. Nothing with a squeaky plastic inside. He was back to normal within a week. Bless him.

Pollux loves his birthday toy. My dog is also a soft toy "terminator:" gotta get that squeaker out of there even if it means getting the stuffing all over the house!!! I will sometimes use the "skin" of a "dead" soft toy as a cover for a firmer toy that also has a squeaker, or I might stuff one of the krinkly kind of water bottles into it and tie off the ends with ribbon to create a "new" toy out of the remains of an old one. Anyway, thank you for sharing Pollux's day with us: I've been following you since the vid announcing his adoption and it has been fun to see him develop into the character he is now.🥰
