And the Moo is 13 and a half years old like my fur girls, Sophia Loren and Angelina Jolie! Yes, the years do fly way too fast!😱I snuggle with them tighter these days. Nighttime routines are precious! Our pittie starts letting us know she’s ready for bed about 8:45p, and if we’re not moving toward bedtime by 9:15 she looks at us with pleading eyes and heads off to her bed…we love it! No late nights at our house! ❤

Our boy won’t get into bed until he has had his nighttime treat. He then gets settled into his big donut bed but it has to be where he can see us in our bed. Our dog was a rescue dog as well and didn’t have a good life before we adopted him. He is certainly living his best life now. We just love him so much.

Awww... still so cute! My first video was adopting Pollux. He has come a long way. I was thinking after I read Sunday's newsletter that I needed to see Pollux do zoomies in the yard, play in the wheat and Maxxie roll in the yard and get up all brown or green. My dog fix. This was equally as good. Thanks for sharing :)

Maxxie rolls in the yard at least 2-3 times a day. Even had to give him a bath last week because he was so stinky! LOL

Hi Renee darling RE:- the holes in Maxxer's bed courtesy of Pollocks... You can buy cute iron on patches. Wash the bed obviously. Turn the bed cover outside in place the patch on the outside where you want it, then use an old piece of material like a cut up sheet or even a dusting cloth and take an iron over the whole thing pressing down firmly. Train and excess material (sheet/duster) and put the bed back together with it's stuffing sausage sock affair. XxxxX 🥰

Such sweet little rituals we all have with our babies. Maxxie looks great for 13 1/2 years and I hope he's going strong for many years to come. I can't believe two of my little guys are now almost 4! We lost our two dogs 3 weeks apart about 4 1/2 years ago. We were just devastated. That was in August. October rolled around (I was born in October) and for my birthday, my wonderful brother and sister-in-law gifted me with a little poodle mix puppy (8 weeks old). She was so adorable (as far as I'm concerned, she still is!). About 2 weeks later, our vet called about a little 8 week old puppy with some serious medical issues (all treatable, just needed some money thrown in the pot) and would I like another puppy? You bet I would! So along came a little Havanese boy needing a couple of surgeries and some other "issues" (his left rear leg is shorter than his other 3 legs, so he has a "distinct" gait and runs on 3 legs instead of four; he's blind in his right eye, he was reactive to other dogs). So we had two sweet babies again. I can't believe they're almost 4 now! And then came our third canine baby that kind of fell in our laps and we weren't about to put him out, he's almost 2 now!! Our cats are now 5 years of age (both were a year old when we adopted them 4 years ago). Where does the time go?

Awwe sweet Polix and Mooie ❤. I had a Akita mix many years ago that liked sleeping under the bed. My shihtzu likes to sleep next to the bed. He's 14 1/2 and just like you I worry about him trying to jump off the bed.we also have a 10yr old shepherd mix. We love our pets ❤

For anybody who hasn’t seen how Pollux got adopted, you have to watch it it can move you to tears. It’s so beautiful! Maxi looks amazing. You’re just so wonderful with the dogs and your family.
