The biggest issue with going door to door ( I am not opposed to it) is they’re a ton of pple doing it. Which means pple are tired of strangers knocking on their door. They don’t want to heat anything at all. Which I completely understand. This his how cheesy roofing companies are operating now. Homeowners are getting hit 2-3 times a week

I’ve started my pressure washer business and just a little over a month of making a few common mistakes then doing research etc, I’ve totaled $6800 this month and now have a backlog of 2 months with around 30+ customers

I’ve had cops called on me so many times for soliciting, and they’re usually super nice and just ask me to leave. That’s usually the worst thing that happens if you’re scared. - tip is to say something like “we’re trying to help clean up the community/neighborhood.” It’s a great one liner that breaks the ice and gives an idea of what you’re there for.

I feel like how you look goes a long way. Proper uniform and your car setup with some sort of business logos goes a long way then maybe just a few Karen’s will bother you lmao
@JakeRice-qu4rm6 ай бұрын
Another thing to do is when you ask to walk around the property is to ask if there is any areas that the customer want you to pay special attention to or if they want to walk with you to “show you” things they would like cleaned and point out stuff that you see that will “look so nice when it’s been cleaned”… If they walk with me I like to compliment something in their yard or with their house to give them some pride about what they have. Makes it more likely hat they will want to spruce up.

I am not going to lie all this is great BUT beginners you guys need to take in mind1. it is not that easy as it seems in these videos 2. people do not just welcome you this easy as they show you will get WAY MORE no's then YES but you will be much more appreciative for the Yes's then No's and always take care of those customers and keep them as loyal customers 3. Door to door does work with the right approach don't get discouraged keep grinding. these guys like to post just the great interactions they come across and lead the blind with the blind. This door to door stuff aint as easy as they make it seem. It is a grind and a hustle and it is VERY POSSIBLE to make a lot of money. But it isnt all glits and glamour like these videos make it.. STAY MENTALLY STRONG MY FRIENDS and don't get discouraged by the rejections.. KEEP GOING and appreciate the yes;s they will come!

60 doors isn’t much. You should be able to do that in an hour. Keep in mind one good sale pays for hours of knocking and leads to referrals. Keep at it it’s a numbers game
@marcusraynal2 ай бұрын
You must be The Flash. Because the fact that expect someone to walk from the street, to a front door, knock, wait, have a conversation, walk back to the street, and then move over to the next house all in 60 seconds is crazy talk

Instead of dirty, you could say theres a build up of grime and dust that could do with a blast before it stains tge siding.
@boomknight1015 Жыл бұрын
I'm looking to start but I hate the idea of telling them that it is dirty. I like the Free quote and even offering a free square foot cleaning if they are on the fence. It lets them see how well it could be cleaned how ever I'd try and do it in the front of the house to make everyone see it so if they don't get it done I can leave a business card then leave. They have a square that makes the whole thing look off and makes them really want to go it to make it look even. How ever doing it with out permission I'm fairly sure is flat out illegal but it's a tip I heard forever ago and I like the idea of. It lets them see how dirty it actually is.
