I almost didn't watch the video because it showed the "strangled tree" in the preview. So, glad I did. I've been fighting with ribbon for years, going round and round the tree with 30 feet of ribbon and tucking, fluffing; pulling, tucking, swearing, etc. so as not to have that look. Nightmare! Just cut the ribbon - amazing. Thank you for this.

YES GIRL! I have been using a pom-pom garland the past few years since it's easy, but the garland wasn't cheap, and I feel like I now *have* to use it for a while to get my money's worth out of it. I never used ribbons because my tree had the strangled mummy look to it from my poor ribbon-attaching abilities! Love this. How do I tuck in the Ribbon Vertically? Do you twist and tie the branches to keep the Ribbon vertically on the Tree?

It should stay on when you add it when you push it into the tree, but you can definitely twist the end of the ribbon around a branch to get it more secure.

You can definitely use this method on a 4' tree. I bet a white tree is just lovely! If you are not happy with the ribbon, simply take it out and try again. A little practice and you will get it just right! Have fun with it.

I bet it looks great! Sometimes you have to just let the ribbon fall where it wants to and fill it in. Cutting it in strips definitely helps.

No. Nothing at all. The ribbon is just placed in the tree. The wire can be bent around a stem, but otherwise it is just placed around it.

Your tree is so beautiful, but unfortunately this method didn't work for my tree. My branches are much more spread out and it definitely requires pipe cleaners or wire to keep the loops tucked in.
