Oops, one negative I forgot to mention in the video was the lack of extra USB ports. It would be nice to be able to use it as a hub, essentially having all your accessories plugged into it. What do you think about the AG02? What's your favourite EGPU solution?

For me, I'm happy with my original Odin 1 base and using moonlight from my pc! Ever since I discovered Castor/Moonlight with Virtual Machine, I see no reason to get any of these battery chugging handhelds. I got a 3060, I'm completely fine at gaming at 1080p 60, so.. yeah! lol! Money is tight and it'll be tighter in Canada very soon, so best to save up while we can! Great video but all of this is too rich for my blood lately, I don't NEED these.

Oh I totally understand, good to save money where we can sometimes. The rtx 3060 is still a great GPU either way!

The price tag for the EGPU used to be $200 but now they put a stupid 800 W power that I don’t need because it used to be 400 W of power but now they slowly increase more wattage and they slowly increase the price so what’s up with that? I don’t wanna buy that kind of stuff anymore I used to like I really really do wanna buy it but now I changed my mind because the developers who change it now I not not happy customer anymore. I was about to buy it because it was portable but now it’s like they just want me to throw so much money on on electric bills

Could you please measure write/read speeds of USB4 connection using CUDA-Z or AIDA64?

Does your ROG Ally X freeze when tuning it on with the EGPU plugged in? I have to plug mine in quickly after pressing the power button otherwise it will freeze on the boot logo

What's your vram set to in the bios? Automatic?
@Lepregoose13 сағат бұрын
@@KeiRetroGaming mine is set to 8G currently in the armory crate, would that be the same as in the bios?
@KeiRetroGaming13 сағат бұрын
@Lepregoose yep! Try setting it to automatic and see if the issues persist. I know the AMD egpu I used would crash regularly without the igpu running automatic vram.

@ thank you! I’ll give it a shot

@KeiRetroGaming11 сағат бұрын
Yep, very easy then. Just follow what I did in the video and use the error 43 fixer and it should work fine.

800 W power is just insane. I don’t need that much power. I’m just gonna use the RTX 4060 they should put only 400 W they used to do that but now they change it to 800 W because all the consumers want more power and I don’t need a stupid power so I’m not buying this stupid product. I was about to buy it but I am more. I’m already done with that stupid product. I just wanna know how much performance with USB 4 Port even that type of set up, it’s very expensive even if I use the RTX 4060 it’s gonna end up costing around $550 for me if I build my own set up, it will cost around $500 by getting a different EGPU productthat I found on Amazon around $150 without built-in power supply while you have to use your own power supply is a lot more cheap cheaper

it's better to have a good-brand 500W power supply than a bad-brand power supply that's unstable
