@@Vivsbooks your taste is so similar to mine. I also adore Love Theoretically. I’m writing down the suggestions you gave that I haven’t read yet because I’m betting they will be right up my alley, too.

You look great! Loving the hair! Its fabulous!!! 👱♀️💕💅 Btw I adore how you decorated your bookshelf behind you! It's so cozy and festive! 🍂🎃🍁📚 I still haven't picked up Lukov with Love but I have read her other books Kulti, The Wall of Winnipeg and Me and Wait for it. I really love the slow burn. She just does it soooo well! I really want to read All Rhodes Lead Here. I keep hearing nothing but great things about it 🙊

Hii you, thank you so much! I'm obsessed with my bookshelf decor as well! I painted the pumpkins myself (I actually have a fall vlog coming up 👀) I can highly recommend From Luke with Love especially when you like enemies-to-lovers and her writing (since you read quite a few books by her and love the slow burn). All Rhodes lead here is definitely on my tbr as well!! I think I'm just a but intimidated by her books since I like slow burn but her books test my limit and my idea of a too slow slow burn 😂

I am outing myself here saying that I am one of those people that think that enemies to lovers isn't really romance trope BUT I respect everyone who feels otherwise, because that is just how I feel about that trope. And it was really interesting to watch this video to see how different people can view a book. My reason for my opinion is that I go by feeling and maybe the word "enemy" in my head is too associated with some definitions of that word when it is about "harming the other since they are the enemy". So my opinion is solely based on that feeling since I didn't get this particular feeling I have for "enemies to lovers trope" in any romance book so far. I've read some of the books in your video and for me they were all more on the "hater/rival to lovers" side. But like I said I can totally get how others can see this trope differently and in a romance genre as well. Edit: And since you mentioned Dark Romance in the beginning of your video. My comment above is solely for pure romance books since I don't read any DR. If I would I can imagine that I would feel the enemies to lovers trope there as well just based on the topics and plots some of these books have.

Hii, first of all thank you for your input, so interesting - I love these conversations! And I totally get why a lot of people share that view and I do understand it! The "enemy" element in contemporary romance is definitely more a Hate/dislike - to love thing. To me it's more about the vibes of the romance and I don't really differentiate between hate-to-love and enemies-to-lovers trope. It's just when I didn't read fantasy but still loved romances with an enemies-to-lovers trope and people said that wasn't a thing I felt like it wasn't fair because I only read romances and not fantasy so people saying I never actually read my favorite trope just annoyed me. 😂 Now that I read fantasy I do get where they come from but I don't expect every romance reader to start reading fantasy only to enjoy the "real" enemies-to-lovers trope if that makes sense? That's why I wanted to dedicate a video with that trope (or that kinda vibe) for only romances. :)

@@Vivsbooks I also love those kinds of conversations and yes I think it really depends on peoples feelings and how they experience a story and their preferred/most read genre. Like you just said that you feel it based on vibes, I don't feel it based on other vibes I only experience in Fantasy. And honestly it would be weird for me to say that I want/looking for enemies to lovers in a romance book when my own definition is basically that they want to k*ll each other haha. What a plottwist that would be.😂😂

@@chapterpalette Haha well than you'd basically slide right into the dark romance genre 😂
