As the titular "#1 Problem Solverz fan" I can more than safely say that segment completely sucked. It just completely parrots the points that the Mr. Enter clones were bullish¡tting out by just watching the episodes for the art and not for the actual story and content of the show they're watching. Like, yeah, of course you forgot the characters and storylines, because you DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION TO THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. Plus, if your real problem with the show was the art style, and that's it, then why didn't you watch season 2? It actually completely changed the style to a new one that's way more easy on the eyes. Better yet, actually do the most basic of research into the aesthetics and inspirations of it, since the show is an adaptation of PAPERRAD, which was an indie collective started in 1995 that is inspired by alternative art movements. But hey, if you put a disclaimer saying "Oh, you better not defend this show in the comments or else I'll be really angry!!1!!1" then you can get away with it, apparently /srs

What about Disney XD? In the mid 2010s, Disney Channel became so reliant on live action programming that all their animated programming would move to Disney XD. Before, Disney Channel would air animated shows like Phineas & Ferb and Fish Hooks, and eventually Gravity Falls and Wander Over Yonder. In 2014, Fish Hooks ended, both Gravity Falls and Wander Over Yonder moved to Disney XD, and Phineas and Ferb was reaching the end of it's initial run. Doesn't help that starting from here up to 2017, every new animated series (most of which aren't that good) would premiere on that channel, while the main one just gets live-action sitcoms. It wasn't until 2018 when Disney Channel began airing cartoons again with DuckTales 2017 and Big Hero 6: The Series (both of which would return to Disney XD near the end of their respective runs) and would premiere newer ones like Big City Greens, Amphibia, The Owl House, and The Ghost and Molly McGee before having those shows get reruns on XD until they lose relevance and the only way to watch them is through Disney+. As of 2018, Disney XD has been nothing but a rerun channel with the only shows getting new episodes being it's gaming shows (which were introduced in the previous year) that were slowly being phased out, and anime such as Yo-Kai Watch, Beyblade Burst, Pokémon (Seasons 20-22), Inazuma Eleven Ares, and eventually Yu-Gi-Oh! and Bakugan. You can even blame Disney Channel for being the reason why Nickelodeon wasn't so cartoon-focused in the 2010s, giving CN a chance to flourish over both of them in terms of animated content with so many good series airing at once with them all ending by the end of the decade, with the only thing holding them back being all the Teen Titans Go! reruns and how the network became so dependent of that series.

Technically not a CN show but it aired on the same network, but an underrated show I remember watching in 2013 is Grojband-a Canadian musical comedy made by the same studio as Total Drama, which follows 4 teenagers who start a garage band but-being unable to write their own lyrics for their songs-they would drive the band leader's bossy, mean older sister crazy so that she would write in her diary so that they could borrow for inspiration. While not as great as Adventure Time, Regular Show, or Gumball, Grojband has plenty of great humor and catchy songs, which each episode having a song at the climax, and it's honestly a show I wish will get a second season to flesh out the characters and continue to entertain us with its amazing songs, especially if we ever have to put up with nonstop reruns of Teen Titans Go!, which can go bite Bender's shiny metal ass.

If I remember correctly, both Evil Con Carne and the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy started as a different show - "Grim and Evil", which was split into three sections, one following Con Carne and the other two following the Billy & Mandy characters. Eventually the show ended and both segments got their own shows, meaning Billy & Mandy is technically a spinoff.

Born in Feb. 2003 and grew up on CN. The 2000’s were my decade. So much nostalgia waved over me when you showed “Billy and Mandy”, “Fosters Imaginary friends”, and “Total Drama Island”. I was born too late to fully appreciate the 90’s and by the mid 2010’s I had gotten older and stopped watching cartoons much since I was becoming a teenager, so that decade doesn’t compare to the nostalgic 2000’s for me.

i have watched the whole of Teen Titans GO as a kid and i can safely say IT IS GOATED! It is meant for an audience of age 8-12 and the references to other shows and the previous teen titans is AMAZING. The episodes are so bizarre and so funny that you can safely say it did a job well done. In India, it is considered better than the OG TEEN TITANS due to the sheer lack of technology in that era. Teen Titans GO is seriously awesome and you all should give a go at watching it.
@bruv75694 ай бұрын
Quick rant As a kid(born in 2005), I remember appreciating how much variety Cartoon Network had in their shows. I mean, around 2015-2016 Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball, Steven Universe, Teen Titans Go, Uncle Grandpa, We Bare Bears, and Clarence were all coming out with new episodes at the same time and it was amazing to live through as a kid. episodes for every show would drop on new episode thursdays and it felt like every show was just spitting out episodes left and right. and yes i lowkey loved clarence, uncle grandpa, and the early seasons of ttg lol. it all genuinely went downhill for me in 2017 when Regular Show ended and CN pushed shows like Adventure Time and Steven Universe either completely off the schedule, or at the 6am time slot. Every day I would turn on the tv and it was ALWAYS teen titans go, it would be maybe 2 episodes of gumball, we bare bears, clarence, or ben 10 2016 if i was lucky, but CN filled like 80% of the weekly schedule with TTG for almost all of 2017 i’m not even exaggerating. i remember when OK KO started and the schedule was literally just TTG and OK KO with like 2 episodes of clarence or gumball. at this time, they still had a good variety of shows that they could have been airing at their own time slots like they were in 2015 but instead TTG took over the entire schedule. Not to mention, CN treated shows like Adventure Time and Steven Universe like complete shit in 2017. they would never air reruns of either of these shows even after new episodes aired. It felt like Adventure Time was being forced to end because of CN’s harsh treatment of the show, and I did not understand why they wouldn’t air Steven Universe knowing how hungry the fanbase was, especially at the time. None of what CN did in 2017-2018 made sense and it lead to their dumpster fire era of 2019-2023 where they cancelled every single show after no more than 3 seasons (if they were lucky to even get a second.) not even gonna get into how they pushed infinity train and summer camp island to hbo max then cancel infinity train for no reason. thanks if anyone actually reads all this lol

You’ve prolly been getting multiple comments saying the exact same thing but as someone who barely liked Steven Universe a decade ago, getting back into it DEEP last year, binging through every single episode of both shows as well as the movie, in all genuine honesty, was some of the BEST media I’ve ever consumed. As someone who loves One Piece (burned through 900 episodes), I love a really good story, and Steven’s no exception. Season 1 is a bunch of cartoony filler and such, but once the story hits, it HITS. Season 5, the movie, and future all change the tone from light hearted silly kid stuff to realization of loss, fear, revenge, etc. The story gets incredibly dark, but dear gOD it’s genuinely my favorite cartoon ever simply just because it did something incredibly different and unique that I’ve never seen replicated or done better. Tldr; please give it a full chance if you haven’t already 🙏
