If you love chicken and rice, then this is the dish for you ( or me ) to enjoy. There was a jump to another recipe for chicken spaghetti; it didn't say in the video or the written recipe. My question is, do you salt the water before or after you boil the chicken? I hope you had a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Hi Jack, we don't usually salt the water that we poach the chicken in, but you certainly could. Just need to be careful, because you do use some of the poaching water a little later to make the sauce. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you and your loved ones did, too!!! Have a GREAT week!

You should be able to slide it under the broiler to crisp the chicken up a little.
