Thanks man, I appreciate it! The auto is definitely worth it since it has Subaru's EyeSight tech and auto is still very fun (plus you got manual mode and paddles)

@@RevolveAuto it’s better than the CVT that’s for sure. Hopefully a tune can be made to remove the safety limiter so you could downshift at any speed.

@@Thr333Dogg yeah man, it looks like the auto is the only accessible option right now. Even if it’s a half second slower in the 0-60 and 1/4 mile a supercharger and other mods will hopefully be available in the future to offset the performance difference.

@RevolveAuto GR86 owner manual recommend 93 Octane gas. California only has 91. The owner manual says "you may notice a slight, decrease in maximum engine performance and you may hear some knocking (pinging) of an engine while using an octane rating of 91 (95 RON) fuel." Did you notice anything by putting 91 in yours?

All 12 dealerships in my area that I've called have told me straight up that they refuse to sell the new BRZ/GR86 for anything above MSRP. They don't mark up prices at all. Just gotta find the right dealer

Wow i thought i was back in the movie cloverfield with all the camera shakes lol .. 2nd it sounds good, its not raspy at all ... 3rd that was not a cold start at 6:54. Cold start means the engine has to be at outside ambient temperature and the rpm's will be at ~1400 rpm upon cold start and slowly drop. If the engine has been sitting for only 2 hrs, its still warm. You may get away with a cold start if its actually COLD outside and its been sitting for more than 5 hrs ...

lol, sorry bout the camera shakes. And yeah more of a warm start, cold start is a lot louder, but only lasts like 30 seconds. And yes love the sound! Thanks for watching :)

SARD titanium exhaust is the best, also if you don't want a farty obnoxious exhaust then Borla is the sensible option..

I got lucky since a dealer got an allocation right when I called them so I put a deposit down and it arrived about a month later. Try to find a dealer with one allocated already , so you have a wait time of 1-2 months :)

IMOP: MXP Comp RS if you want loud and drone but for me it sounds too loud, too much drone. The Apexi N1 Evolution seems a much better exhaust investment ... No drone, not too loud, sounds sweet. Perfect especially if there are sound restrictions where you track.

@@RevolveAuto I bought mine for my 2014 Monogram in April. DUDE, do NOT listen to the skeptics. It REALLY makes the car good to AWESOME! You want the feeling of 60+ hp, trust me. I also bought one for my 2019 3.6 Subaru Outback. You have a 2.4 compared to my 2.0, I can't even imagine what yours would feel like if my 2.0 makes me really happy with the booster.

Take those 2 cats off and see how much louder it is 😏 My genesis coupe is good with 1 cat off, but if i take the 2nd cat off 😳 .... it can get annoying . And what i dont understand is that its a 2L turbo and its pretty loud with no cats ... yet my 240sx with a 2.4L turbo and no cats and its quiet ... my supra is also a 3L with twin turbos and no cats and it is not as loud as the genesis either 🤷🏽‍♂️ So why is that genesis so loud ???? I have no clue

That was one choice for me as well. This one sounded deeper than the Corsa, so went with MXP. Think it's all personal preference. MXP is deeper, Corsa is more refined sounding.
