Corsa or Borla, snap crackle popping during de-celeration. Corsa, no drone, loud when accelerating; good for old folks. Corsa extrame for young folks. Borla, small drone, a bit loud during low rpm, loud during accelerating; good for young people. Akrapovics, has NPP, loud when u want it like straight piping. Small air bombs during deceleration in x pipe. i have ls2 w/ z06 manilfolds,cats, xpipe, 3” all the way w/ akrapovics.

The only thing about the Corsa is that it does have less drone and also is quieter at low rpm/cruising but even their Corsa sport model is a fair bit louder in sheer volume than Borla’s equivalent (Borla S Type I and II). Basically, the Corsa is better in terms of lower interior volume and drone but it’s much louder in both idle sound as well as WOT sound than the Borlas on the outside. I’m someone who loves the philosophy of the Corsa with it being designed to be a more comfortable increase in sound within the interior because it has less drone but the cold starts would be brutal in my quiet neighborhood. Borla would be more tolerable in that regard.

I have billy boat on my c6 Z06 sound great with a deep throaty sound, but that’s my option good luck on your choice.

How to make stock exhaust sounds 30 - 40% louder without drone without buying another exhaust? Remove cats or mufflers? Or install lt headers or xpipe? What should I do?

If you already have put an exhaust on the car that does not have the ability to close off the pipes (butterflys), then any other modification will most likely only make the drone worse, but also louder (especially headers). The Bullet exhaust system is very loud but also has tons of drone because it doesn't have the butterfly close off valves.
