In my opinion, out of my 3 videos, this one is the weakest method. However, since there is really no good way to rebattle trainers in Hoenn, this method is by far the best exp and money grinding method without having to battle the elite 4 and champion! I was getting comments about them not showing up anymore. After doing some research, it appears they will NOT move locations after you defeat them 255 times. I may have to make a follow up video if I find another good way to grind exp but for now your best bet is to battle them until they stop rematching you then grind elite 4!

To increase the xp of the pokemon you want to lvl up u can give them xp share by the place in the first gym so your pokemon insteqd doing a 50/50 share of xp by participating it will be instead a 75/25 share of xp which can help you lvl up the mon you want to lvl up

Basically just put the pokemon you want to level up at the first slot of your Pokemon Party, holding an EXP SHARE. The difficult part is choosing the location to grind. Whismur Cave (Rusturf Tunnel) is a good location to train early game Pokemons to Lv20. The XP gains from that cave is good enough that you can immediately unlocks 35 (possibly more) pokedex entries through this method.

the thing i liked about RSE was that you could battle the interviewers with 30/40s, while waiting on match calls. then doing the e4 with an exp share till they can do e4 themselves. in ruby/sapphire, the sky pillar and victory road are pretty good. in emerald sadly they scaled down the lvls so pillar isnt as great, and with your only variety being interviewers, e4, match calls, or victory road it gets kinda boring quickly. edit: ive never hit a limit with the interviewers personally, but i also havent ever longplayed emerald. as a kid i DID sapphire as well so i had pillar and such to mix things up. still wild i grinded 100s as a child truly. also i saw it mentioned but yeh flying to lavaridge avoids rock smash. also i think the ability lightingrod makes match calls quicker/faster rebattles if your lead has it.

@@ThedomiNATION I actually use this trick while my Pokemon don't have a lot of levels (like under 20-25) and it is to go to Mauville city and leave my 2 of the lowest lvl Pokemon in the daycare center and jump onto my cycle and start driving left and right in front of the Daycare for about 10-20 mins (while also watching Pokemon episodes until then XD) and then BAM, they got like 5-20 lvls. (depending on how many lvls it had and the amount of time spend, also it ain't much effective cuz it might learn a move u never wanted it to learn)

If you don’t have a lucky egg you can use the exp share and keep The Pokémon you’re training out of battle, it will get full exp for both enemies instead of half

Well it’ll still get half the exp you’ll just get half off two Pokémon’s worth of exp which may make it feel a little better than normal

The trick was leaving the pokemon in battle so with the XP share it will get 75% of the experience from each pokemon (which gives you the exact same experience as the lucky egg on double battles)

Great tutorial, only suggestion i have is flying to Lavaridge Town (instead of Mauville) and that way you don't need Rock Smash

There is an alternative way to level up Pokémon especially when you want to prepare for the elite four. I always train at route 117 between maville and verdanturf, 2 breeders two athletes with dodrios and the double battle with little girls. Over and over i quickly level up my Pokémon to at least 50 level

Why don't you use the XP share?, If you give the XP share you get 3/4 of the XP to the pokemon you want to train instead of 1/2

Yeah In nearly every Pokémon game there is a move reminder who can have a Pokémon relearn a previously forgotten move. The one in RSE is in Fallabor town in the house left of the contest hall and you need to give them a heart scale

I got GPT to write a script where it rides the Mach bike left and right indefinitely so I can get fastest daycare XP possible. And it spams the B button 10 times every minute to bypass random match calls in emerald. And I put the emulation speed at 40x the normal rate while doing so.

You can do it as soon as you get to the routes the interviewers show up on

I'm literally doing that now on ruby but for better grinds fight the trainers on mauville back and fourth and changing routes fast back and forward with mach bike it speeds up the cool down allowing to fight them again. Once you have fought them enough most pokemon will have evolved and be around 31 to 33. This means the grass lady and guitar guy next to the sea crossing all the way left to the city with the cave. This will have at least 2 pokecare trainers 2 athletes, 1 twin, 1 flower lady and 1 guitar dude.

This issue I have with victory road is you cannot rematch the trainers, and like half of the wild Pokémon can end the battle anytime (makuhita & hariyama get whirlwind and lairon gets roar)

As long as the Pokémon that’s holding the amulet coin is sent into battle at any point during the battle it’ll give you the double money. You don’t have to start with the Pokémon holding the amulet coin but you need to at least swap to it

The Pokenav has a list of every trainer you can rebattle, and when they have a pokeball symbol next to their name, that shows you when they're ready for a rematch. Also, there are SEVERAL trainers that reward you with more XP than these losers...

Hariyama is from a trade and when you are not the original trainer, it gets a bonus of exp. along with that it was holding a lucky egg to give it an additional exp bonus

Fire red and leaf green prevent you from trading with Ruby, sapphire, or emerald until you complete the post game story and give both the Ruby and sapphire to celio in the one island Pokémon center!

I've been doing this for decades, i use lvl 100 swampert with surf and knock both of their pokemon, and give a exp share to the pokemon you want to lvl up to lvl up quicker and ofc it needs to be in the battle. Plus in emerald (i dunno if it works in ruby and sapphire) there's a time where they stop moving and just stuck in route 111 and can still battle them.
