Also, something I forgot to mention but was in my notes, was her low cost in teams. This is something that might come up for some players especially in nodes where you want to run max drop CEs (i.e. a Lotto or daily QP farming) and it's just an added bonus that she doesn't eat up your team cost like a 5 star or even a 4 star support would.

This is the correct low rarity support type Servant. Not useless, just a more affordable version of an SSR support; just like Hans to Merlin. We already have low-rarity Buster and Arts support (Shakespeare and Xu Fu), now we need the Quick one.

Xu Fu being an Arts support with special bonuses for Consort Yu is because while she loves Yu, she did also build her entire plan on top of a single encounter without even asking Yu about it. Her being an Arts support really just drives home how much of a failgirl she actually is. Ironically she works really well with her biggest fear, Qin Shi Huang.

Just started playing since five days ago and just got her in the recent banners! I’m really excited to have her on my team since I have both Artoria (Saber) & Astoflo (Rider), who I’ve been thinking of replacing with Xu Fu since I’ve been wanting to replace him for awhile. I think (other than character reasons) the reason Xu Fu has the buffs for Yu is so she can support Yu even though she isn't an arts servant. Also while she is a buster/arts hybrid, the upcoming Summer Wu could pair nicely with Xu Fu since she can make enemies undead. ...also with these names I'm wondering where Zu is /s She's the one I mainly want from the anni. Assume she won't be in the fp gacha til after the Arc banner finishes

Great video, I just got into the game because I'm a big fan of Tsukihime and I bought an acc with 2100 sq with the only purpose of getting Arcueid and I kept getting a LOT of copies of Xu Fu so I was wondering if she is good or not for a 3 star.

So right now, my arts farming team is DPS, paracelsus, tamamo, and plugsuited support castoria all on turn 1. Would Xu Fu be better for np gain in place of Tamamo or Paracelsus or is this totally irrelevant to me? edit: her arts and np gain buffs are markedly worse than both tamamo and paracelsus, so no, doesn't make sense to switch her out if you're using the standard f2p arts looping team, unfortunately.

@@martendo67 paracelsus is a 3 star so if you don't have him i'm guessing you have a new acc, so just keep rolling and you'll get him. tamamo is available from the free 5 star ticket you get when you start the game.

​@@insertnamehere6559Replace paracelsus with xu fu. Even if paracelsus has the higher np gain buff, the 30% battery is just a much better option. Plus, if you are fighting things like ghosts, her damage mod is particularly useful. I use xu fu a lot in JP even outside farming content, mainly because Paracelsus have horrible cooldowns on his skills

@@JohnnyJustice777 I get where she might be more helpful sometimes, but I am only interested in 3 turn farming, so cooldowns don't matter. And my DPS has a 50% battery, so even against berserkers and assassins that hasn't really been an issue. But fair enough.

what do u mean by post-anniversary? the summer event? the events for the rest of the year? for anything, it really depends on what u need for ur account. if summer event: all 3 5☆s on rate-up are really good. need a quick support? ruler skadi. art merlin? proto merlin. arts looper? berserker ibuki. if for rest of year (these are in order of appearance): kama avenger will return and is also a good arts looper. okita alter is a good quick farmer. jalter is a good buster ST and will be getting buffed in less than 2 years. morgan will return, good buster farmer. barghest (although a 4☆) is a good aoe buster soloer and survivor, also very fun. CASTORIA will return, top tier servant if u do not have already, she is a must have. lastly for 2024, a major couple is oberon and melusine. side note: spishtar will also be back, but she has mixed reviews. i personally love her because of her ability to be quick, arts, and buster, and i use her constantly, but she does require higher np levels now than she did back when she came out. because of this, she is not part of the list. these are all servants i think are "meta" or really good atm, but at the end of the day fgo is MUCH more fun when playing with favorite servants. no need to have every broken meta servant. i have many and end up only ever using a handful. no need for a thousand different farmers

@@Sparda1007 ofc! but seriously, the best servants are the ones you really like or want, even if they're not meta. supports are really the only thing i'd say are servants absolutely worth investing in as "meta" servants, but dps? you really only need 1-3 farmers (i mean i use spishtar, cu caster, or morgan depending on circumstances, but many 4☆s can do the job just fine) and then you can really use the most random servants for cqs depending on niches they have that can shine. there are other servants that *i* personally want this year that are not meta (arc and abby), but idc bc i will absolutely use arc for funsies and try my best to get as many copies of abby as i can bc she's my precious munchkin that deserves to be 120'd and max appended (also her np is dog at np1 nowadays). i am f2p gssr so i will not be able to summon on anything but anni, summer, and then abby & cu at the end of the year :,) a LOT of meta dps servants are hyped, but it's up to u to decide on 1-3 at the end of the day to get by (a few is good in case u run into a farming stage with a disadvantage for ur main farmer or has a niche better served by another servant). just choose the ones for the card types you prefer (quick, arts, buster) and you'll be fine. i will add, castoria np1 will do the job, but i got np3 (gssr blessed me with 2 more copies) and it honestly is a game changer for cqs/harder farming stages, so there's that option for u as well instead of having to invest in a million copies for different dpses. don't plan on too many banners or you'll probably get absolutely nae nae'd on by the gacha. good luck!! glad i could help
