Unpopular opinion: Fallout 1 holds up way better than Fallout 2. Fallout 1 is a pretty small game, so the chunkiness can be worked through. Fallout 2 is absolutely fucking massive. This makes all of the clunky ISO mechanics so difficult to get around. Both games need a remaster with updates to be like Pillars of Eternity in terms of quality of life features.

Tbh Todd is on gigalevels of copium that his dream child is such a shit game. The dude can't admit there is something seriously wrong with Starfiekd, even though it has less players than 20 year old Fallout/Elder scrolls titles. It's always the fans fault, for not liking Star citizens formula because we were expecting Skyrim in Space, but that's just not the case. Starfiekd is a dead, boring game, that looks pretty and has fluid gunplay. The biggest pull of the game could've been it's ship building, but who cares about that if Ships are literally a fucking cut scene, with no interior to be utilised. Bethesda Soft works are too far up their own asses to second guess themselves even once. Quite tragic, because I think a lot of people really tried liking Starfield, but there's just nothing to like about it.

Fun fact: Fallout New Vegas is actually a sequel to the never released Fallout Van Beuren (original Fallout 3). Basically, the entire story for the origin Interplay Fallout 3 has been leaked. It dealt with NCR corruption, rumors of the Legion far away, and about the lead up to the 1st battle of Hoover Dam. Fallout New Vegas basically skiped Van Beuren and told the story retroactively. It then continued on the story to the game that was never released.

@@Skyhigh-hu6rfas a dude who has 1041 hours on Fallout 4, its very run and gunny, stupidly op weapons that you either just get from the 1million legendary enemies everywhere, or those you can just buy (overseers guardian comes to mind) makes the game super easy. That combined with power armor that you quite litteraly have 24/7 from the get go, and the super easy access to chems, makes for a breeze. Not dogging you or anything just saying, Fallout 4 is probably the easiest but chill Fallout ive played. Not a bad thing nesscesarily but most of the time i ram through everything barely breaking a sweat or thought. Still a good game even though its watered down.

First, Unity is older than Creation. Engine age isn't the problem, it's design. Starfield is low because that's what happens to single player games after launch, population dies. Most starfield players are on gamepass, not steam. Not really, people are heavily exaggerating. It was mods that altered core mechanics heavily. Graphics mods, companion mods, and similar were unaffected entirely.
