i bought this watch a few months ago and love it, but I don't get why everyone wants to change out the strap. The issued strap compliments the watch so nicely.

@@Alex_Fung Something to keep in mind is that this is meant to be a tough leather...the watch was designed for outdoor adventuring and mountaineering, not for sipping frappucinos.

I own this watch and I also don't get why so many change from the factory strap. I think the original strap is excellent in all respects. The complaint about it being too stiff is just absurd, it is a high-quality strap that just requires being broken in and then it is so nice. Although the replacement strap in this video looks pretty good IMO, some of the replacement straps are just hideous and shows that some guys don't have enough class to even own a watch like this. To each his own I guess.

I’ve had the “Baby Alpinist” since last Christmas and it is a beautiful watch. Mine will do everything but make dinner, wash the clothes and tell me the correct time.

Barton strap is perfect companion for alpinist, i have mine on barton rubber since 2021 and now the rubber started to get shiny and smoother to touch. I also got rid of the none fixed keeper so only one keeper with bump inside of to keep the strap secured
