Greetings from Greece !! I got Yaris mk1 facelift 2003 1.300cc 86HP and it is so reliable economic car. The fuel combined makes 6.2l/100km. Great video 👍

Honestly great cars! I’ve got one as my daily alongside my IS200. Mine is a 1.0 2002 VVTI identical to this. Mine is on 70,000 and not a spot of rust at all!

godambity keep Japanese I just got one for my second car Don’t touch a french car fiats or a peoughot they are SHIT! Vw gear box issues other than that ok, don’t go semi automatic or multi mode, hybrid get it from a dealership and the hybrids batters are expensive to replace and start dying after 5-6 years old hope that helps :) if you are automatic avoid multimode!

Love my Xreg Yaris 20 years old and only 66,000 miles on it. My daughter also has one and also my sister. My wife has a 56reg RAV4 2•2 litre. Pulls our caravan better than the land rover we had. Toyota's are brilliant. Cheers.

I tend to agree, apart from the rust underneath, I've not had any issue's with a Toyota, we even have a MK2 Rav4 here which has been faithful for over 10 Years now!

I got one of these and it is a great car. It is quick around town and because its light will show up other cars in tight turns and roundabouts. The idea is to get to the speed and stay there. Never let me down.

Got a 52 plate Yaris GLS automatic, fantastic little car hasn’t let me down, not really anything special to look at as I’m a fan of cars and recently sold a 1 series then brought a little Yaris as temporary and all I can say is I’m no longer in a rush due to how great these are to drive!

Just did an mot check and the car no longer has an mot since 2021 😢 Hope it's not dead. My little 1.3L 04 Yaris is still going strong. 144k on the clock, I always service it when it's due and never let me down. I love my Yaris

3 door hatchback, Not coupe unless I'm mistaken. I just bought one for 250 euro with 11 mo this test on it. 223k miles but running sweet as anything.. Also, does anyone else think the 1.0 vvti are pretty quick for what they are? I'm shocked how lively the wee car is Compared to that of a corsa or a polo

yaris engine are indestructible apart from exhaust. a full stainless custom straight pipe silencer would benefit for long lasting engine

Yea. It's their production lines, they had a higher tolerance to high standards. Apparently it was back when Ford were mass producing their cars on production line, Toyota couldn't keep up with them, so they went for higher quality instead. I watched a documentary on it quite a while back.

I had the yaris mk1 like this but the Sr model ( more like the t sport model but 1.3) it got to 160,000 miles and still had loads of life left in it when I sold it. Can't rate these cars enough. They just do not want to die. Mine had loads of battle scars, peeling laquer all over, dents... You name it, but no body rust at all. By the way, I used to use cif household cleaner on the headlights and you could see the yellow drip off after you buffed and rinsed them. I have a Honda jazz now and they are known to be just as reliable

Gutless as hell ?? Its a 1.0 vvti , if you keep the revs between 4500 and 6500 they fly ! They weigh about 900 kilos. Exercise the vvti system by revving it to get the vanes in the vvti sprockets moving and new oil flowing through them they will disillusion a lot larger engined cars. The 1.3 when used is quick and the 1.5 is seriously rapid. My 1.0 does 50 mpg round town, it used to do nearer 60 but with E10 that's dropped , on the motor way at a steady 70 , get 70 mpg !!. Does not use oil . So much fun easy to park no street cred no one's going to steal it and insurance is next to nothing. Oh like many others mine at 22 years old has no rust either.

Get a yaris t sport. They go up to 2005 plate I believe. They are a 1. 5 vvti engine and they go like stink. These yaris only weigh about 900 kilo

I had the x reg sr model and that had air con. It didn't have any gas but it had the parts there 😂
