I had sinus issues while growing up in PA, mainly hay fever. This continued even after moving to the SW until one day I went swimming and tried to dive to the bottom of the pool. As I got deeper I felt pressure and pain in my sinuses and returned to the surface. Not wanting to give up I tried again, each time able to go a little deeper. The repeated pressure changes broke up the congestion in my sinuses. When I blew my nose it was the thickest, stickiest green mucus I'd ever seen. After clearing my sinuses of this I no longer had sinus issues, that was over 40 years ago, not one problem since. I don't know if this would work for everyone but it's worth a shot.

I’ve had sinus pain/pressure accompanied with nasal congestion for 16 years now. My life has been derailed and the discomfort has become progressively worse in recent years. There is no mucous, it is strictly an issue of swollen turbinates. Been to several doctors here in Central NY as well as had surgery - have found no resolve and the pain persists. Ive ironically developed gut issues about the same time the sinus issues started. There must be a connection here. I’m hopeful for this, as it is so outside of the box of all the ENT’s treatments I’ve received. Thank you, Doc! Fingers crossed.

@N K Hi there. All I can say is, it did for me. This was not the reason I started Keto, but the improvement when I did was very obvious. I am putting this down to the effect it has on inflammation in the body. I also have little to no joint pain (the extra collagen in my diet probably also helps with that) and it also cured my acid indigestion within 48 hours both of which I had suffered for several years. If you are a woman of a certain age (can’t tell if you are or not so sorry if this is too much info) the beneficial effect on menopausal symptoms is also noticeable. Was considering HRT until Keto, but not any more. All I can say is give it a try. If you decide it is not for you, or has no effect then there is nothing lost. I would also say, if you do, don’t get sucked in to all the specialist Keto foods and supplements, they are very expensive and in the main completely unnecessary. Happy to answer any questions you have, but can only base it on my experience. Whatever you do I hope you find a solution.

That Lanto product he shows - I bought that years ago. It does work. Comes w a measuring spoon. Mix it w some distilled water and soak it up w a qtip. Use it in nostrils. It really does clear up your sinuses so you can breathe. They also suggest a swish in your mouth too, but I never did that. Its great to use for a common head cold or something where you want to stop a runny nose and clear it up instead. The powder lasts a long time, so - if its too expensive, share the price w someone else and split the bottle. 👍 It does expire.. think its about a 1-2 year shelf life in the fridge, but Im not exactly sure.

Kimchi is great for cleansing the gut. But some people may have histamine intolerance that can trigger sinusitis. And fermented foods and cabbage are foods high in histamine . So best to keep a food log and see what works best. It’s also a known fact that people who have developed chronic sinusitis , started only after getting root canals . I know that what happened to me, and other friends who started to compare notes. It’s a good idea to look at oral healthcare when you have a sinus flare up , when weather (such as low barometric pressure) or food triggers, aren’t the culprit. Nerves in the mouth are closely connected to sinuses .

Great Video clip! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Aiyenry Straightforward Authority (do a google search)? It is a smashing one off product for eliminating nasal polyps and infections minus the headache. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my close friend Aubrey finally got excellent success with it.

I've had this. When the stuffiness got particularly bad I effected my breath...stinky. Gradually cutting back on milk has helped. I hope this advice does as well.

I will try this next time because so far only antibiotics have saved me from drowning to death in my mucus from sinus infections and the hospitals are completely willing to just let me die this way! This is about the only alternative I haven't tried yet! ............(half an hour later remembered i did try it and it didn't work for me) but thanks anyway

Does this work for sinusitis that caused by consuming milk or dairy products??? Because each time I eat dairy products, I will have mucus and my sinuses are blocked, sometimes with a cough. Thanks!

I had a severe sinus infection that spread to my upper eye tooth and gums. I developed an ulcer and lost all feeling in my tooth. Lightly rubbing the area between my upper nose and eye lit my face up to nearly excruciating burning pain. I started taking Sinupret and within a few days all the pain and fullness was nearly gone. It’s been 3 months and no longer do I have any infection. My breathing hasn’t been this clear ever!

How did you come to the conclusion that the infection spread to your tooth? Did you get diagnosed by a dentist? If it’s true, you would need to get the tooth extracted…

Thank you Dr Berg, for mentioning it as well in your live discussion yesterday. I make similar cheat version of kimchi 😂 by buying the ready ( lazy chillies) brand, and add to it whole garlic cloves & grated fresh ginger, it tastes good on its own as pickles, or I even use it sometimes as a marinade for chicken or fish, the other thing that will work perfectly for sinus; from an experience, is mint oil, if applied topically inside the nose.

Yes, kimchi marinated chicken is amazing- I snuck it in on my family- they not fans of Kimchi, but they loved the flavored chicken (they were surprised when I told them). Any time I open a container of kimchi they smell it instantly and hate the smell. But they loved the chicken marinade. Dill pickle marinated chicken is delicious too, tastes like Chick Fil-A (w/o the breading of course)

Could you please make a video about chronic rhinitis. I'd be forever grateful 🙏❤
@silynita3 жыл бұрын
I did this diluted kimchi juice dabbed in the nostrils 3x a day after I've read a blog from a sufferer and it works. I also do this when my nose feels itchy from allergies and when I feel I'm getting a cold/cough. I have to do this everyday though because I live in a very humid place and the amount of fungus and algae is just too much for me. When I make kimchi I switch up the ingredients( a tip from that blog for diverse types of bacteria)

Is it possible to have a healing reaction? I started the San J yesterday and feel pretty crummy today + headache. I once got MRSA and discovered it naturally lives in the nose and armpits and was given antibiotics to use in those places. Perhaps I wiped everything out in my nose bc I’ve had increasing difficulty breathing nasally and it’s chronic. I eat super clean, no dairy, mostly vegan except for low Mercury tuna a few times per week. Lots of fresh veggies & fruits, no gluten, no excessive amount of processed foods.
