Wow got onto a few there al I’m not a massive fan of the live scope as a cod fishermen I see many fish caught using it but I think it’s honestly making it harder to catch fish just blind casting now cheers mate love how you show all things fishing

Fishing out of a setup like this is a bit of a upgrade over the kayak. Xmas 2025 or bday upgrade? 😂 I never quite understood the kayak fishing that people still trailer around. I guess you can launch near anywhere but once your in a boat or even a jetski the fishing experience is so much safer and easier. Most locations are a 15min boat ride at 40kmph and 90% of the time there is fish less than 2km from the ramp if you look. A jetski episode would be a interesting prospective. Thise things can do 100kmph 😳

Each to his own. I'm a bit of a traditionalist and enjoy the challenges angling presents me. But, on the other hand hi tech is here and, here to stay for those who want it. Traditionalist or not, my car has ABS and traction control.😊

Melton res you can drive down to the lake at the end of Clarkes Road, otherwise more user friendly spots would be places like cunningham pier, Barwon river like this kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKHKaoqQmqeto7M Lorne Pier This link might be helpful fishingmad.com.au/locations

Unfortunately, car thefts and insane littering have been an issue down there for a very long time. I was doing some consulting for the council/government for the spot and was really pushing for more stocking as well as the introduction of paved carpark, security cameras, picnics tables etc, but nothing has changed, just a lot of money spent on investigating the situation which is a waste.

Sorry but this is no longer fishing, this is watching a screen, taking all the skill out of it and in reality the fun aspect of fishing, not knowing when you get a strike. Like playing a game with cheat codes, like watching a movie already knowing the ending.

Thanks, I understand completely. I've done about 300 episodes on the channel and this is the very first episode showing Live Scope or Active Target. On the channel, I always endeavour to show different locations, techniques and gear with an open mind simply to share what's being used within the fishing scene and how to get the best out of it. I expected very mixed results showing live scope or active target but wanted to showcase another form of fishing which, whether we like it or not, is being widely used these days, especially by anglers targeting cod. It certainly changes how you fish, spending more time staring at the screen as opposed to fishing of intuition, which I have always done. I had so many years on the kayak and boat with no sounder at all, so its good to explore the opposite spectrum. Again just showing the different forms of fishing and its capability. Thanks for watching and supporting.

Hi me and my mate make fishing vids. love for you to give us tips
@fishingmad16 күн бұрын
Its a lot of work to pull these vids together, these ones are a day on the water, quite a few cameras, mics and drones and about 30 hours editing. My best advice is have fun with the process, enjoy the moments out filming. Always look at your own work with an open mind so you can improve and always think of the viewers experience. Try and keep the video smooth and audio clear, but again just have fun with it. Hope that helps and look forward to seeing what you guys come up with.

Love your work but I hate the scope scene. Not sporting in my opinion, and turning fishing even more into an eletist sport.

100% correct, thats my error. Garmin = Live Scope, Lowrance = Active Target and other brands have other marketing terminology. I've been doing so much with sounders lately and just got my wires twisted, thanks
