Cedric definitely has top tier genetics. He is combination of Serge and Arnold with the massive chest and arms like Arnold. I thinka lot of people don;t realize Cedric is a full time military guy. He can't just show up to the gym at anytime and workout whenever he wants. I think a lot of people forget that BB isn't Cedric full time dedicated job, so give the guy a break and appreciate his service to this country and whatever package he brings.

Tell us more about Cedric's package... Just kidding. I actually like the fact that he doesn't come in with shredded eyelids and shit. I prefer the pre-Dorian look though.

I sat right behind the judges at the 1991 Mr Olympia and Lee Haney blew me away. I'd never seen him in that condition. That version of Haney would have beaten the 1992 version of Yates, but unfortunately not the 1993 version! Levrone had unbelievable skin and tan close up on stage. I've seen Flex compete a few times in the 90s but never truly shredded. My favourite physique of all time is Flex at the 1993 Arnold Classic. It gobsmacked journalists at the time 🙂

Lee priest is the most underrated. Lee priest is one of the few people who beat Ronnie Coleman multiple times in a year . Lee almost made Ronnie quit before he won his first Olympia Ronnie Coleman on his worst loss: “I’m thinking to myself I’m 5’11, got a lot of mass, real big guy. And I look over at Lee he’s all of 5 foot 2 but he was beating me and I was like how is a guy that size beating a guy my size? I’m like well maybe this isn’t the sport for me.”

Ranking the genetics is very hard because at the end of the day we can't determine the most important factor that either makes you or breaks you: the ability to come in conditioned. We can't really say if big Ramy comes always looking off because of his diet or simply becuse his body can't drop too much water. Even if Akim Williams diets exactly like Dorian Yates did he probably won't look nearly as impressive as the shadow because his skin is too thick. Kai Greene kept loosing to Phil because his conditioning wasn't as good. Some people tend to flatten out while trying to get good conditioning while other people don't (Phil Heath is prime example)

I believe Haney's training philosophy is more optimal for hypertrophy specifically than the balls to the wall most bros and pros subscribe to. All scientific evidence points to that as does most theoretical rationale (biomechanics and physiology). It's starting to get practical support from the best natural athletes.
